Not getting through to customer care...

I ordered a product from them with express shipping on November 23rd. However, on November 26th I got an email saying my order had been cancelled with no explanation why. I tried multiple times to get in contact with conpany but every time i sent an email, it said my email was blocked and so i never got an answer. This was quite annoying but I have just gotten the money back from it today but i wouldve really liked this product to be delivered instead.

Item not arrived

I ordered a week ago and the item hasn’t even been dispatched. I tried to email their contact page and the email is just bouncing back.

Hi Emily!

We hope you're well. We're sorry about the delayed response. For some reason we did not receive any email and are also looking into the issue from our end. We did check and see that the item was delivered to your address on the 18th Dec 2023, we apologise if there was a delay. As you can imagine during this busy period, we rely on third party couriers such as EVRI. We can see they collected it on the 10th but for some reason they took an extra few days to deliver it, which sadly happens often during this period from many couriers.

Again I sincerely apologise about the delay by Evri, and hope you still enjoy your snugglybear and had an awesome christmas! We will do our best to make sure they don't do this again although sadly many times out of our hands.

Customer service diabolical

Ordered two items December great service and family were extremely pleased. Ordered another in May for next day delivery it didn’t arrive no dispatch email. It finally arrived 5 days later after pestering via email no apology just a lie about how it had been sent but couldn’t provide any proof of that. I politely asked for them to refund the next day delivery charge as it was late and embarrassing having no gift for the recipient. Since then my emails go ignored and they’re not bothered. Customer service is diabolical I would have been ordering more as gifts as the product itself is great however id take my custom to a company with a half decent customer service now.

We will look into your case further and see what went wrong to improve. We can see that Evri lost your original delivery to which we immediately sent a replacement next day delivery once you let us know it had not been delivered. We’re sorry you weren’t happy with the outcome and apologise on behalf of the courier as we did send two items on time but they lost the first. We will definitely try and change our couriers and apologise again.

Took payment then refunded without reason

Took payment, but then refunded with no explanation. Turned out they’d sold out when I checked the website, so presume this is reason for refund - an email giving a reason for the refund would’ve been appreciated.

My Sloth Hoodie 🦥

Recieved my Sloth hoodie and it is so comfy and lots of room in it , very soft n so cozy . Was easy to order and delivery I paid only £3.99 and recieved it next day . Great price too as they have discounts because of the cost of living electricity n gas being expensive , great company and I'm going to order another one . Love love love it .🦥🦥

Order not received

Order not received, Royal Mail saying they never received it from snugglybear, so filled in the online form and emailed and no response.

This was meant to be a Christmas present, thoroughly disappointed

Edit:
The reply below again states it was royal mails error, however after speaking to them again, snugglybear sent the package on Thursday night. I asked for it to be sent by an alternate courier, due to the strikes and snugglybear did not deliver, so the whole ‘we will do everything we can to resolve the matter’ was absolute rubbish. My advice: don’t buy from these people. Let’s hope this business stays small, if not diminishes

The reply once again is complete fabrication I was the one who suggested using an alternate courier and I emailed well in advance of my review and only received a response once I reviewed, I also responded to them and they said pretty much word for word what’s below

I can tolerate it being late, but had I known they would lie so much afterwards and try and pull the heart strings of others to stop them losing business I would never have bought from them.

Just don’t bother buying from snugglybear, they’re quite clearly not very good people, merry Christmas

Thank you for your feedback. We have been in communication with yourself and with Royal Mail, sadly due to the largest postal strikes as we mentioned in our emails they have a lack of staff and have delayed delivery of your package. As a small business sadly we are at their mercy and orders at these peak times before christmas sadly are being affected even amongst the largest UK retailers, let alone small UK businesses. Again we apologise on their behalf and are sorry that we have been blamed for the delay. As we mentioned we will do everything we can to resolve the matter.

Joshua, as mentioned, we’re terribly sorry. And apologise about the delay. As you can see from all our other reviews. We have never had any issues bar these past two weeks. We have not changed anything from our side and always ship out on the next working day. Its a shame you would believe Royal Mail, who have been on the largest strike since their inception for multiple weeks, delaying, losing and using contracted workforce to lie about postage. You can even go on any forum and see that they have delayed shipments for all national retailers, big and small, yet you seem to blame a small local business and believe them when we are trying our best to weather the storm.

Again we wholeheartedly apologise about the delay and wish that we could have had it delivered some other way. Again your choice to dismiss a small local business and instead believe Royal Mail who keep saying the same thing to many customers in order to save face makes us sad.

That being said we emailed you and did not hear back but only heard of this issue via your review. We do appreciate the feedback and will try our best to improve although we literally sent your package next day, yet royal mail are lacking so much staff that they only scanned the package on Thursday ( due to their backlog )

Love it and will buy again

Fantastic quality, great price and so warm and cosy. Will be buying these as presents as I love mine. The pink is such a pretty colour too. Fast service as well, can't fault anything.
