Thank you for your review.
We use the polyester backing layer to complete the quilting process, without it we wouldn't be able to make the product. The product has a 100% cotton face on the top layer and also a 100% cotton wadding in the centre to create comfort for our customers.
The polyester is against your mattress and only the cotton is on the outside between you and your bedding.
