Adventures in Brazilian busses
I selected the part based on the best of my ability to decide my choice was appropriate for the job, that said the job involves a Brazilian produced 1973 Type II that looks like a US market bus sold until 1967. We found we needed to modify the shifter combining parts from the original and the replacement but still could not get things to work right. The new gear stick also is too tall to clear the bottom of the dash while selecting 3rd gear. I resolved to try replacing the base plate 211-711-149 which I just ordered from you good folks. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for being here to provide parts!

At So Cal Imports, we strive to get orders out on the same day, but our policy states that it can take up to two business days for standard ground, same day for priority when orders are placed before Noon PT, and the next business day when priority orders are placed after Noon PT.
In your case, we actually shipped the product the very next business day after your order. It was the carrier who seems to have caused the delay. We are filing a claim and will reach out to you as soon as we have a resolution.
We understand our customers are excited to work on their projects and want their parts fast. However, we should not be held responsible for the carrier's service levels for a few reasons.
• The carriers may experience a wide range of delays during transit once the package leaves our facility.
• We have no control over the carriers' quality of service levels. Our only recourse is when a product is damaged in transit we can issue a claim.
• Our customers often choose their own shipping carrier and/or method unless an order qualifies for Free Shipping. The Free Shipping option, though the most cost-effective, may be subject to longer transit times.

2 1/2" exhaust flanges…
I purchased some 2 1/2" exhaust flanges for making exhaust parts on my LSX S10 project. These were made of mild steel and they fit the pipe correctly. I also bought matching gaskets and everything fit correctly .

I received a heater knob that clearly had some defects from the mold that was used to reproduce it. I shot one email out, received a response VERY quickly and was told a replacement knob would be drop shipped directly to me and inspected before being sent out. Just got the knob in the mail, it’s perfect! Zero hassle, fast and direct response. Couldn’t be happier. Little things happen, but it’s rare these days that those things are fixed so quickly and that goes a long way with me. Will be doing plenty more business with these folks in the future, highly recommend y’all do as well
