Society of Wanderers Australia

Society of Wanderers Australia. Arrogant and awful customer service. They claim their products are stolen SOOOO often that you must sign for delivery. So, even though Bed Threads, David Jones, Sheridan, Myer and literally EVERY OTHER company I’ve bought from, enable the customer to have the convenience of a doorstep delivery, this company decides for you that you can’t just have the items that you PAY FOR delivered to your door by Australia Post, at YOUR CONVENIENCE without requiring a signature. This co is all about the convenience for them, not for the customer. If you want quality, literally any of Sheet Society, Bed Threads, Sage & Clare, Kip&Co are better quality with much nicer customer service.

I had to take time off to sign for a $50 delivery of what turns out to be two ridiculously bad quality linen pillowcases. I’m so glad I bought them on sale. Oversized and misshapen. Are you kidding me? Losing pay during a cost of living crisis is considered a minor “inconvenience” by this company.

These people are so arrogant, so out of touch with reality, that this is their arrogant reply:
“While we understand that visiting the post office may be an inconvenience for you, we include signature on delivery as a standard practice for all orders to ensure they are received securely. As the sender, we are responsible for your items until they reach you, and given how frequently unattended packages are lost or stolen, this is the most reliable way to guarantee delivery.

Most online retailers utilise this service for the same security reasons. Should you choose to shop with us again, we recommend contacting us prior to placing your order to discuss if any alternative arrangements can be made.

We appreciate your understanding of why we prioritise the secure arrival of our products over the CONVENIENCE OF A DOORSTOP DROP”.

Pretty colours.

Pretty colours.
Not cheap.
Fades in a few years even with washing in cold water.
Pillow covers and top sheets are fine, but don't invest in fitted sheets because the company uses cheap linen that wears away too thin then rips. All bottom sheets end up with holes, quite quickly, so compared to my still perfect old school white cotton sheets.. a waste of money.
