Faulty sofa and no response

I bought a sofa from Sofafox in December 2025 (over £800), which arrived with faults including small and big cracks in the internal panels and structural areas.

I reported this immediately and was told it would be fixed after Christmas. Since then, I’ve followed up multiple times over several months and was repeatedly told it would be sorted.

Now I’m getting no response at all to messages, emails or calls. Robert (the owner) is completely ignoring me trying to talk to him.

Very disappointing experience and poor aftercare. And bad quality. I hope this is resolved soon, otherwise I will need to take further steps to recover the cost.

Would not recommend.

Very Disappointing Experience – Avoid

I purchased a corner sofa from Sofa Fox at the end of January 2026 after being assured that delivery would take place at the end of February. After waiting almost a month — and arranging my move and home setup around the confirmed delivery date — I received an email one day before delivery informing me that the company had ceased trading and entered Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation. My order was therefore cancelled without any prior warning. What makes the situation even worse is the complete lack of communication. Before receiving this email, I repeatedly attempted to contact the company by phone, WhatsApp, and email, but received no response whatsoever. Customers were left completely uninformed while the company was apparently already facing serious financial issues. This demonstrates a serious lack of transparency, professionalism, and respect for customers who trusted the business and paid significant amounts of money in good faith. I have now had to open a dispute with my credit card provider to try to recover my payment — something no customer should have to deal with after making a legitimate purchase. Extremely disappointing experience. I would strongly advise others to be cautious.

Defective sofa

We received a sofa on September 7th, 2025, and after two weeks of use, the backrest seems to be coming loose from its frame, and the seat foam is thin enough that you can feel the wood while sitting. I tried contacting the company via WhatsApp and received no response.

I am very sorry for what happened to your family. And, as requested, I tried to contact you again. The message was seen but not answered again.

I definitely would not do business with this company again, as they delivered a defective item and shirk their obligations to the consumer.

Whoever reads this review, please look for another company.

Regret buying- Speedy refund at least

Ordered a sofa bed 4th July, after chasing got told there’d be a delay in making the sofa due to holiday season. Was informed over text sofa would be estimated to be with me second week of August.
No contact from then on. After multiple emails and phone calls, finally got a text reply back to my queries as to what was happening with my delivery, only to be told they did not process the order. Received refund 26th August.

In the end, all was a waste of time. But at least got money back swiftly.

I ordered twice free swatch samples and...

I ordered twice free swatch samples and never get anything. I don't understand from where comes this positive reviews because it's not possible even order anything from them. How they can still be in business if they don't takes orders. I called Mr Robert and told me that he was on holiday and just came back and will send samples by post next day, but he never did. I put another order thinking that maybe they don't have it but this second one is still in progress from 6th August. Even is not possible to buy anything from them such a shame because have nice corner sofas. Waste time!! Very unprofessional company.

I had a perfect experience with SofaFox from start to finish. The delivery was smooth and in time. A big thank you to Robert, who not only delivered the sofa but also set it up entirely by himself. He was incredibly helpful, polite, and professional — truly a pleasure to deal with!

The sofa itself is beautiful, very comfortable, and clearly made with high-quality materials. It looks great in my home and exceeded my expectations. . Highly recommend SofaFox to anyone looking for quality furniture and top-notch customer care.

Unfortunately I trusted a small…

Unfortunately I trusted a small business and it came back to bite me Ordered sofa 17th May after the 5wks wait all I've had is excuse after excuse and no sofa! Eventually got a full refund with the promise of delivery of the original sofa with discount as compensation,needless to say I received neither sofa or compensation.Have now gone to reputable source and am sitting on my new sofa as we speak.My advise would be don't pay upfront before you actually have the item delivered.

Excellent service start to finish.

I was reluctant to get a sofa off line. But all sofa we saw in shops were triple the price. We noticed sofa fox did a cash on delivery option. With being unsure the cash option was brilliant as if we were not happy we wouldn't have handed out cash over. However, from the very first second we ordered we were getting confirmation, and phone call about delivery. We had a phone all an hour before delivery. It was one person he was so nice and friendly. Double checked the space to make sure the sofa would fit. He brought it all in friendly chat as he did. He unpacked everything, took all rubbish with him. Set the sofa up and showed me how to pull the bed in and out. So friendly. Amazing service. Defenitly recommended. Maybe just few more choices and sofa options. Other than that perfect.

Brilliant job , definitely recommend it

Bought in a corner sofa bed . I order it a few weeks ago , came in today . The owner did absolutely brilliant job, he literally did the extra work to make sure our sofa was delivered on time . He even rented a van while his own van was for repairs; he came personally to our house to assemble the sofa . It is a good quality sofa and looks brilliant, much better than expected.
I definitely recommend it!

I’m absolutely delighted with my new sofa bed! It looks fantastic in my space – sleek, modern, and very comfortable. The fabric feels soft yet durable, and the colour is versatile and classy, fitting perfectly with my decor. The functionality as a bed is a huge bonus and the conversion process is really smooth and easy.

Love my Bella three-seater sofa bed! It’s perfect for my small living room – compact yet incredibly comfortable. The dark green velvety velour fabric is stunning and exactly the shade I was hoping for. It took around six weeks to be made in my chosen colour, but it was well worth the wait.

The quality is excellent, and the added storage is a brilliant bonus. Special thanks to Robert, who was a pleasure to deal with – friendly, helpful, and took care of the assembly.

SUPER DUPER SOFAFOX.

I recently purchased a corner sofa bed from Sofafox and the whole experience from start to finish was excellent.
I liked the look and price of the sofa on eBay but also in the advert was a name and contact number.. Horray!!
Robert was great to talk to, we discussed the product and delivery requirements and set a date and time for the sofa to be delivered.
I received a phone call approximately 1.5 hours before delivery time to let me know he was on his way and expected to be on time for 10 am.
Robert arrived bang on time…. the sofa was moved into the room, unpacked, assembled and all packaging taken away by 10.30.!!

A good honest company

A good honest company. Excellent comfortable sofa bed assembled by Robert on site in minutes. One word of warning however. If you order something that is not in stock it will be made in Poland and due to the ludicrous Brexit (presumably) may take forever to arrive. Mine took about 6 weeks but worth the wait.

Perfect transaction, quality Sofa.

Absolutely perfect transaction from beginning to end. Purchased a Corner Sofa Bed with storage in ivory fabric. The sofa bed construction is both robust and comfortable and the fabric covering is gorgeous in colour and texture. This company not only offer fabulous products but they have perfect customer service alongside the products. Delivery was exactly as promised. Excellent job Robert and thank you.
