Wouldn’t give them any stars stuff is…

Wouldn’t give them any stars stuff is crap, I’m taking them to court it’s just a long time I have to wait until the court clear the back log. But got 2 sofas & should never have paid cash but anyone that want to buy anything from them I will make arrangements for you to come see the sofas for yourself.The sofas where delivered with I put legs on but they say I put them on wrong I didn’t get instructions so give them that, but you sit on any of them & you feel every bit of the frame I have more padding in my pillows, the sticking is so tight in places & the foam on the arms is bigger from the other side, I tried everything to get them to talk to me but they didn’t care, they only fixed the legs from both sofas when they seen the court paperwork everyone says like your sofas I tell them to sit on them & they can’t believe how bad they are.SO PLEASE DONT GIVE THEM CASH as they won’t even talk to you I’m just glad I have everything they said & don’t care if I don’t win just want people to think about it before the buy from them as it’s always going to be there for everyone to see will let you know how it goes I can’t see how to reply to sofaking but yes I was your customer & i don’t know how you haven’t had court papers yet will have to get onto them I had went to Glasgow court but it’s been sent to Hamilton court because of your address I have every email I sent to & received from you so look through your records I even got insurance from you well I am a customer my order number was 55764 look that up or I could just post my receipt for you with everything on it I will just try & do that then you can’t say I’m not a customer will that do. I don’t see it but if you can I put your receipt as my photo so see you in court ,maybe after that you will treat your costumers better the way I have been treated was atrocious had my money then wouldn’t talk or do anything until you see court papers Yes I did get a 2 & 3 seater Bari sofas on the 18/06/18 from. Sofaking 1 Kilmuir road. Birkenshaw Trading EST G71 5PB I first reported it on 19/1/18 but nothing until I sent a photo for the court papers on 22/01/19 them you came to fix them on 29/01/19 but didn’t fix anything else so it was in the year & that was up to you I’m done see you in court well Hi I did what you said and contacted the warranty company the warranty that yous sold me as I was told a long time ago it was up to your company as that was the way they came to me. Yes it has been 2 years that how long I have been trying to get my money back from yous I tried everything by the law with first being that I had 30 days to get my money back but your company wouldn’t even answer me, I then asked yous to register with resolver, then I went to the furniture ombudsman but your company isn’t registered with them. So that’s why I went to the small claims court as I’m sitting on my old sofa with loads of pillow on it as iv had meany operations on my back & now have osteoathritis in my spine so I’m in pain 24/7 & the old sofas is better, yes I want to go to court if I can save just one person getting treated the way I was it will be worth it. Yes I did contact the company about the warranty as iv stated above, do you want me to put every email I sent that wasn’t answered & the ones you did answer it’s not a problem & not blackmailing anyone I just want to go to court & get back what right under the law that is mine nothing more well the money for the warranty you sold me as well Look iv always said some you did answer you answer after I sent yous a photo for the court paper yes I can send them if you really want I will send them but it’s done see you in court

Dear Alexandra,

Again, we have to disagree with your version of events as you now admit that we came and fixed the problem on the 29/01/2019. It is now 04/10/2020 and there were NO other issues to be fixed during the warranty period or since.

We came and fitted the legs correctly free of charge. Customers fitting legs incorrectly is not a manufacturing defect or covered under warranty. Yet you were able to contact us and we responded. Why would we not respond to any any other communication from you?

You state "don’t care if I don’t win just want people to think about it before the buy from them as it’s always going to be there for everyone to see"

Unjustified claims and false reviews damage reputable business reputations and put peoples jobs at risk. This is obviously of little to no concern to you, as you continue to make false claims and accusations then state that the original issue was fixed. (Incorrectly fitted legs by the customer) is NOT a complaint.

We have NOT received any court Papers from you to defend. If we do receive any we will defend them as the original issue, which was not a manufacturing fault, was resolved as gesture of goodwill.

Now more than 2 years later you are leaving false and unjustified reviews with the sole intention of causing harm to our business as you clearly state this in your review as shown above.

We would have dealt with any issue during the warranty period or informed you that your sofa was outside the warranty period and advised you that you should contact the warranty company who would deal with any warranty issue under the extended warranty policy IF YOU HAD CONTACTED US.

Have you contacted the warranty company that you purchased the extended warranty from?
Or are you only interested in leaving false and damaging reviews more than 2 years after the purchase of the sofas and admission that we were contactable and "Fixed the incorrectly fitted legs FREE of Charge"
If not, why have you not contacted the warranty company to deal with any issues you believe should be covered under the extended warranty that you have? We would dispute your claim that there was anything other than the incorrectly fitted legs, which you fitted, wrong or reported to us. We dispute your claim that we never replied to you and it appears that after two years you are wanting us to refund your money for no reason and have not contact us through any of the many available options. Instead you leave false and damaging reviews in an attempt to blackmail us into giving you money two years after you purchased your sofa and have not had any correspondence from you after we fitted the legs correctly for you.

Once again you contradict yourself. You state that we did not reply to you, then you state that you will send us copies of our replies to you. Proving that we did reply and we did resolve the issue that you reported to us.

Bought a 3 seater sofa and 2 x 1…

Bought a 3 seater sofa and 2 x 1 seaters after viewing them at there showroom.
Was told 4 weeks delivery which then became 8 weeks then 12 weeks.
On delivery of these sofas sourced from China and come boxed.
The sofa(s) was not the same as the one in the showroom.
They were assembled and were dusty and 10+ areas damaged.
Reported this on the delivery day and after numerous attempts of asking for to return these items and recieve a refund be told to fill out forms and jump through hoops.
They want you to let a 3rd party come and inspect the sofa and take a report on behalf of the manufacturer with the manufacturer footing the cost.
You clearly don't buy straight from manufacturer so shouldn't need to deal with any 3rd party as it there sole responsibility.
They should be refunding due to your consumer rights.
After all they try and tell you that they come from different manufacturers and may be different to one you ordered which is not stated in any of there terms instore.
Very poor customer service and practices.

Dear Thomas,

Regarding the delivery time being extended you were kept informed of this as your post says you were quoted 4 then 8 then 12 weeks. When informed of these delays you accepted that these were exceptional times and the world wide pandemic had an impact on every business and their supply chain extending delivery times.

You claim that there are 10+ areas damaged but refuse to allow anyone to inspect these claimed damages.

Your claim that you have been asked to jump through hoops is not true as you have been asked to fill in a form. This was passed to the manufacturer who quickly instructed an independent furniture repair company to inspect the sofas for them.
You refused to allow any inspection. We don't accept being asked to complete a simple one page form is jumping through hoops.

It is normal business practice across many sectors that if a fault is reported then the cause of the fault is examined and inspected by the manufacturer or their representative. You have refused several request to have an independent inspection done on the sofa and chairs. Your refusal to allow any inspection is causing extended delays in resolving this matter. If there are 10+ areas damaged then an independent report would confirm this and substantiate your claim.

Regarding your claim that this is not the manufacturers responsibility , the warranty is a manufacturer warranty and both the manufacturer and ourselves have tried to resolve this issue. The delay is because you refuse to allow anyone to inspect the sofas to substantiate your claims.

The pictures you supplied show crease marks that will come out with a little heat and time. There were not 10+ areas originally notified to us. There was only a few marks that had been caused during transit, there were no rips, tears or burst, only slight creases.

You have rejected the offer of an independent inspection on several occasions. Only you know why you have and are still rejecting any attempt to have the sofas inspected.

The manufacture appointed an independent furniture repair company to inspect your sofa but you refused this. We have offered to have the sofa inspected but you continue to refuse any inspection of the sofa. The offer to have the sofas inspected is still open to you. This has never been withdrawn or denied to you.

I am very happy with my corner sofa…

I am very happy with my corner sofa which I recieved a week ago . It has just finished off my livingroom everyone that's came in has admired it. It came in the time I was told and the correspondence with them was amazing . I would defo recommend them .

We would disagree with your review as the sofas and corner groups we sell are all of good quality and workmanship. All our sofas carry a full 12 months manufacturers warranty and any issues are rectified under warranty.

Our sofas and corner groups are as good, if not better quality, than many on offer from other major retailers who charge considerably more for the same or lower quality sofa.

We are surprised and disappointed with your review as you have not raised any concerns regarding any quality issues relating to the corner group you purchased from us.

We have not had any issues previously relating to the quality and workmanship of our sofas as shown in the vast majority of our other reviews.

Brilliant service and sofas

I have had 3 sofas in the last 16 years from Sofaking and the have all been brilliant suites I have never had any problems with them.
Staff are always polite and happy to help would highly recommend to my friends and family

I was told the couch we were buying was…

I was told the couch we were buying was very comfortable and was very good quality the couch is infact the cheapest made and most uncomfortable couch I've ever sat on told a pack of lies to get my money would not use again and I definitely wound not recommend

Excellent service

Excellent service from day I enquired to day it was delivered. Communication was great and delivery guys were so nice and even took all packaging away with them. Will definitely recommend sofa king to others
