Well, this is a bummer. It seems that whenever you see MS software for a fair, reasonable price you need to be careful. Or prepare to get reamed out by MS with their gouge prices. I got Office 13 f... See more

Keep away !
I bought ( before reading the reviews) on 9th October 2017, Microsoft office professional for £29.99 which was an attractive price. They gave me an order number (fake) and a Licence Key ( 25 characters). This key is not accepted. Microsoft says this key is not on their database ! No reply to Chats. It is impossible to activate. keep saying enter the previous email and previous password ....??? Looks like a fraudulent empire. Keep away. Lost £30/-
Will Never Use Them Again
I ordered Office 2013 from Software Empire. Downloaded but no activation code. Tried the Chat Helpline and left three messages. Received no reply. Tried phoning: one number unobtainable the other, left several messages over three days with no response. Also tried emailing but it seems emails are not monitored. After reading many negative reviews, decided to phone card company and get money returned, uninstalled Office 10 and informed Software Empire of this. Suddenly, this evening, I have been sent an activation code under a totally different order number from my order, which I have no intention of even trying to use. This is after four days of constantly trying to contact them. At best they are totally inefficient, at worst they are fraudulently trading.
Complete thieves
Complete thieves. I have reported them to ActionFraud, the UK’s national fraud and cyber crime reporting centre for theft.

Bought office 2016 today for a low price a third of microsoft price like others it didnt work straight away read reviews though damn been scammed. But before getting mad at myself i tried the phone activation a bit of a long winded and a pain to get through but it worked ive got office for 35 instead of 115
Great prices, but you pay for the product in other ways
Tried to buy MS Office, but the activation code sent was for the wrong version of the product and was rejected, and was blocked for the version of the product it did relate to.
The contact email address is not monitored. The UK telephone number goes to a messaging service and has not been responded to. I sat on the chat facility (open 10-5 New York time), which is the only way to contact them, for two days before a human response came up. From that point the problem was resolved quickly with a new activation code, and I now have a working copy. They are not a scam, but I suspect they operate on very tight margins and don't have enough support.
This company is a complete rip off
This company is a complete rip off, the software they sell comes with activation codes that do not work.
I spent ages on the phone to Microsoft who told me they are not authorised by them. They are just running a complete scam god knows why they haven't been closed down.
Avoid like the plague.
Seems to have worked but not a straightforward experience.
I work for a charity and bought MS Office Professional from Softwareempire as we're a price-sensitive organisation, I received the emails with a receipt and the activation code promptly, but the code provided didn't work when I entered it as prompted from MS. There was the option to activate via telephone which I then followed. It involved automated instructions being given and was a bit cumbersome to be honest - especially as the "voice" was distorted in places and involved some guesswork on my part. It would have been pretty difficult if we didn't have a hands-free phone that could be put on speaker phone as there is a 54 digit code that is given to you which needs to be entered into the pop up box on screen. You also need to make a note of it. However, it seems to have worked - the pop up box asking for the activation code has stopped popping up when I open a MS Office application... As a process it was pretty painful though - and not helped by the MS information page that suggested if my activation code didn't work, that I had been defrauded. Would I recommend to a friend... probably not. It was not a straightforward process and I'm still a little anxious that I'm dealing with a sham organisation.
Absolute disgusting and a sham ...
Absolute disgusting and a sham .... bought microsoft office. and received a key which never worked.
Left messages and emailed as well. No reply at all.
disgusting
Office 2016 from Software Empire - OK
I bought Office 2016. Received a key by return email.
Auto activation failed. On screen the next option was manual activation, which failed. The instruction was to phone Microsoft. I did and I think I was routed from UK to USA. The MS engineer confirmed the code had previously been used; but he said the re-selling of software licences in Europe is legal under an EU law. He asked if I had just purchased it, yes I said, form software empire. The MS engineer agreed, and gave me an activation code.
Apart from a bit of messing about, I got Office Pro 2016 for really cheap, and MS activated it.
I would give this company zero stars if …
I would give this company zero stars if I could. Bought the office business 2016 August 2016 and it keeps asking me for the reactivation code. Entered the code given by software empire. Contacted them, the only tech available on the day of purchase resolved the issue but the next day it happened again and been line this ever since. Emailed and called but no answer to email or number goes to answer machine. Stay away as this is a scam.
scam
scam. no reply from emails or phone calls. took money for fake keys
Clearly a scam
Clearly a scam. Bought product from them £32.00. Licence key was invalid. Rang Microsoft themselves as instructed to do so on Voicemail. Microsoft unable to activate licence key as it's already been used. Have rung numerous times (no answer) email hundreds of time (no reply) DO NOT touch them with a barge pole. Shame for a child to be scammed in the middle of her A levels isn't it???
Bought office 2013 from them today
Bought office 2013 from them today, licence key invalid. Smelt a rat so did some checking and was horrified. Disputed payment immediately with card issuer and spoke with Microsoft who confirmed key was counterfeit. Hopefully they are going to shut them down.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE FRAUDS AND WILL RIP YOU OFF. WOULD HAVE GIVEN ZERO STARS IF I COULD
This company is a scam I purchased …
This company is a scam I purchased office 2016 and it does not work and despite numerous emails and calls I have had no response if I could leave zero stars I would PLEASE BEWARE !!!!!
Software Empire Scam
I purchase Microsoft Office 2010 from this company. Firstly they charged my credit card twice, secondly the product key is useless, I called Microsoft Fraud Department, they informed me the product code was invalidated over 2 years ago and would not unlock the software. Thirdly despite over 25 attempts at all times during their advertised "opening hours" I have been unable to contact them.
They advertise their address as 111 N Belcher Road Clearwater Florida. They DO NOT occupy any space in that office complex according to a local attorney I contacted.
Total Fraud !!!!!
Software Empire is a fraud company
Software Empire is a fraud company! Never buy any products it sells. Last week I bought Microsoft Office 2010 for Home and Students. After it charged my card, I received a product key which turned to be invalid!
I contacted Software Empire several times: answering machine never connects with any representative, no email answer. Once, when my payment still has "processing" status, customer support answered on the website, promised to send a new product key... but sent nothing. After the payment was cleared, customer support gone.
