The solar panels were fitted in March…

The solar panels were fitted in March 2023 (one panel missing), installation paperwork required to 'sell surplus electric back to the grid' not completed until August 2024, no assistance in setting up this facility and couldn't backdate therefore lost out on a substantial amount of money. This review was asked for following the fact that the incorrect amount on VAT was charged on the original invoice. Subsequently I have had to pay even more VAT than originally asked for.

Very poor experience

Very poor experience. Was promised that they would assist us in getting the installation set up onto an import tariff scheme so that the savings quoted in their sales pitch could be made through selling excess energy back to the grid.

Took six months of wrangling to get them to provide the correct documentation to make this possible and then since they have left us on our own to try set up the import tarriff ourselves. Nearly 18 months after installation we still haven't been able to get over this issue.

Last month, their accounts department contacted us about a VAT miscalculation they had made in an invoice that we paid nearly 12 months ago. They made the miscalculation but were attempting to get us to pay them the shortfall so that they could pay it to HMRC.

This company is a waste of space.

This company is a waste of space.
We purchased 184 solar panels from them in Feb 24 and we are still not connected to the Grid.
To add to the problems we had a major fire which was caused by incompetent Electricians.
We are currently suing through our solicitors.
I would not touch them with a barge pole

Mis-sold installation

We were mis-sold our solar panel installation. Firstly, the company messed up the installation date - I lost a day's pay for this. When they did turn up on a later date, the installation team said we did not need a battery! Great, this saved us money but a waste of space storing it for weeks whilst the installation team sorted themselves out. Then the installation kept tripping out as they had not put in a large enough fuse! Finally, the company were and still are unable to give us the paperwork so we can export power back to the grid as they did not have the right level of certification at the time of installation. Warning to anyone thinking of using this organisation - check the small print and make sure they have all the certification in place.
