Solar Battery Supermarket - RUN AWAY

This company is a chaotic mess and the CEO/owner Alex Tyurikov takes your money and good luck getting what you have paid for, or getting anything at all.
The customer service guy Ben Castillo seems nice however, he is just the good cop keeping you placated, whilst the boss plays musical chairs with stock.
You may get your battery... you may not.
I got my first battery eventually, and was lulled into a false sense of security even though it wasnt a smooth ride but what is these days..., now they have over $13.5k from me for the second one, paid in advance so installation could take place on a Goodwe battery system, yet each and every time (6 times) scheduled installation date has been moved, postponed or cancelled, blaming the installer, and the final one siting stock problems.

How are there suddenly stock problems when the product was previously available for installation?
They either lied about the installations to stall and keep my money or they sold it to someone else.
Either way, lies are being told, they have my money for months now and will not return it. I have demanded a refund as per Australian Consumer Law and the resonse appart from an appology by the customer service guy, is silence and ignoring me. Obviously they think the law does not apply to them.... we will see.

My whole experience is well documented in emails so there is a paper trail and no denying anything, so I think they dont care and their M O is to not respond and try to ware you out so you go away and they keep the money.

This has been going on for months now and these guys should be in jail. Fair Trading is involved and the next steps will be NCAT and seizure of their assets.

I have reported them to the ACCC so they are on their radar also.

No Google review feature is available for their company which is called Sunstone Global on the ABN, so I am guessing they have it turned off somehow or they wouldnt be able to suck people in.

Anyone reading this and considering buying product from this company should just run right now, and with any of these companies, I strongly recommend pay using your credit card so you have the CC guarantee. I used bank transfer and short of a court order, its not getting reversed.

In my opinion, this company should be shut down. Others who are currently in the midst of a mess with them should go directly to Fair Trading, then NCAT and also inform the ACCC. Australian consumer laws are strong but enforcement mechanisms are weak at the early stages which is how companies like this get away with it.

On 17th August I sent them another refund request and got a reply that the bank has frozen their accounts and I should approach the bank for a charge back. We are both with the CBA. Do I believe their refund account is frozen... NO. In other words we wont/cant do anything. My complaint is currently with Fair Trading - the first step, then NCAT, then eventually Court seizure. You can see how with smaller amounts customers probably may be worn down and not persue them.

This dispute part began in June when I finally had enough. It is now September 2026. If poss I will update as the situation evolves through NCAT and the court. I can certainly update on Product Review.com.
