For those considering the installation of solar panels, look no further than Solar Insight. From the initial communication with John Wells, their Sales Director, he provided an honest assessment of what would be best suited on an unusual roof design. A practical solution was achieved which has exceeded my expectations. Two trees were removed on his recommendation to ensure optimum sunshine onto the multiple panels. The scaffolding, solar panel and inverter + battery installation went to plan with the teams co-ordinating their engagement. My only regret? Not engaging Solar Insight a few years ago!

Really pleased with the service and work. John kept me informed throughout and went to great lengths to find the best solution for my battery requirements with careful consideration as if it was his own home. I was really pleased with the end results & after sale support has been great too.

John’s passion was very evident from the very beginning. He is a walking solar encyclopaedia, especially his knowledge with the different brands available. This job was part of a wider project including insulation, windows and heat pump. As part of the estimating process John spent over 3 hours with me looking at the existing setup and providing options for the number of panels and a battery. It was all explained clearly and provided me with a very good foundation for making a decision on the work to be done.
Once a date was finally agreed the work was done quickly and tidally. The installation team were friendly and polite and their work was of a good standard. The installation took less than a day and the panels have been working fine for the last 5 weeks. Particularly important for me and my neighbour the scaffolding was only up for 5 days.

I had my solar panels cleaned by John from Solar Insight. He did a fantastic job, showed me photos showing exactly how he would clean them. No scaffolding needed thankfully. Kept me informed every step of the process including price per panel. He was punctual, polite and keen to know if I was satisfied with end result. Definitely will get panels cleaned again by them.

I had this company service and clean my 15 year old solar panels which were sorely in need of attention. From my first meeting with John I was impressed by his understanding and sincere approach in meeting my needs. The work was proficiently done in an awkward location, with Sam, the electrician, identifying several issues needing attention.

It is less than a month since the panels were cleaned ( 9 July) making it difficult to assess if there has been any significant improvement in their output. But there have been a few days when their peak output has been slightly higher than before the panels were cleaned. The benefits may become more apparent as the hours and intensity of sunlight declines.
