Solarpowerful installed panels, inverter and battery for us in March 2024. The work was done efficiently and tidily, and the system has worked perfectly from day 1. Solarpowerful's technical staff are first-rate. In February 2026, they fitted a second battery for us, to further enhance the system. The price we were quoted was the final cost, ie no hidden extras. We are planning to get Solarpowerful to install more panels for us.

Effecient, enthusiastic leader who provided honest and thoughtful advice. This was followed by a team who did the work carefully but rapidly (in bad weather) and were delightful at all times and went out of their way to prevent disruption to us.

I contacted Luke Powell at the end of 2023 to look at my existing solar system with a view to add an 8.1 kWh battery.

After an initial phone call, Luke came to my house for a site visit and I found him to be friendly, personable, consultative and highly knowledgeable about renewable energy. He gave me some excellent advice and we agreed to make some small adjustments to my system and to install the new battery in February 2024.

On the day, Luke's team was superb: approachable, hardworking and nice guys to boot. After the installation, Luke was quick to follow up and very responsive to any queries I had.

All in all, I'm very pleased with the level of service and quality I received and would highly recommend Solarpowerful to anyone looking to go on the solar power journey.

I have had my system for 5KW roof and 8.2 kw battery for almost 18months. Definitely the best money I have spent.
After Luke provided the quote it goes quiet for a bit. When the install date is given everything happens quickly. The installation took 2 days and the team were excellent. There was no mess and the scaffolding was taken down 2 days after installation.
I believe I will have full system payback in about 4 years. Due to now having an electric car. It allows me to charge the car and the battery at 7.5p per kWh which is handy during the lower daylight months November to February.
The only problem I experienced was when I had a power cut. I went to use the double socket I had linked to my battery and it did not work. Not a major issue as when the power was on everything was working very well. Solarpowerful came out and discovered a fault on the inverter. They contacted Giv energy who authorised a replacement. They installed the new inverter 8 days later. Great service. I would definitely recommend this company, in fact they did my father laws installation.

We have had our system for over a year now and comprises 16 panels for max 6KW facing east and West along with 8KW battery, Water Heater and car charger. I now have a payback of 6 years especially with the car option as costs £3 for 150 miles due to night time rate (Solar free in Summer). I had this all explained clearly with Solarpowerful and they delt with the Power Supply company to get upgrade from 4KW to 6KW. Main choice for me was experience of complex solutions not just panels and invertor. The solution is now more costs effective due to the nightime tarriffs offered by Octopus and the export rate doubled from last year. Very proffesional instal and support.

I can highly recommend Solarpowerful. They have installed a number of Solar PV and storage systems locally and already came highly recommended. Their system recommendation was perfect for us and their back up support, help and advice with the system have been excellent.

I've used Solarpowerful twice now, first was a solar & battery install & then again, this week for a GivEnergy EV charger install.
I contacted Luke after the original company I had a contract with went bust & left me hanging.
I visited the shop (warehouse) & spoke to Luke, who gave me a thorough & honest rundown of my options, with no sales pressure.
Solar install date from time of saying yes was a bit of a wait, but this is only because they are so busy (because they are in high demand), but they started & completed exactly as they said they would.
All the guys working for Luke are friendly, professional & trustworthy and they all clean-up behind themselves.
Daz (electrician) was extremely patient with me & very helpful.
Communication prior, during & after is very good.
If you are south coast based & are thinking about solar/battery etc, I recommend contacting Luke & have a chat with him.

We have had ongoing problems with our app. It is not clear if the panels were actually not performing for substantial periods in November (5th - 19th) and December (24th and 25th) 2023.
