We couldn't be happier with Solar Prospects, from the start they have been very forward with information and we never felt like we were being rushed or pressured into making decisions. The owner and staff are all very friendly and professional, and the scaffolders went the extra mile to avoid damaging the garden. They did an excellent job on the solar installation, it is neat, symmetrical, and has been working flawlessly for a week now with no hiccoughs. Everyone went above and beyond, answering our difficult questions, allowing for last minute changes, and clearing up afterwards. We fully recommend solar prospects, and wouldn't choose anyone else for future solar work.

Kelly really looked after me a took ownership of the installation including the over complicated listed buildings application.

Initial contact was through Chris who showed great patience in covering my questions and concerns but at no time did I feel under pressure to commit.

When the basics were agreed a comprehensive proposal was provided by Lewis and again time was given to cover all the questions of detail I had.

Leah was great as a point of contact for scheduling the work and Kelly handled the money side without being a shark !

When Steve and Ollie did the installation (quick call-out for XL Scaffolding who did a great job) they explained and discussed with me the options for cabling and kit location so when completed I had a very discreet installation that perfectly fitted my property. (Steve's tales of great views and fine sunsets still doesn't make me want to go up on the roof though!)

Monitoring the Solar PV stats, especially now I have the SEG in place, is a bit addictive and I do get a smug grin when we have a sunny day.

Solar Prospects are a great team and in my experience are very focused on giving the customer the best quality service they can.

From the initial contact with lewis you are made to feel at ease no high power pressure or hard selling I was asked what I wanted what I hoped to achieve and then I was given thoughts and answers not bamboozled with stuff I felt like I was completely in charge and I was dealt with by every one I had dealings with at this family company with the utmost respect and could not fault anything I had a 10 aiko 510 panel and 5 kw sigenergy inverter and sigenergy 10.0 battery installed and fantastic clean install everything all up and running I was told about the install and what would happen and when it would happen kept informed every step of the way and the ladies in the office were there if you needed any help along with all staff the staff are a credit to this family run firm and they sell you a good product that works and is installed in professional way which at the end of day is all we want and I know from there ethos that's how they conduct there selves good customer service good products and good service/ installer team I can't thank them enough for all they did pleasure to do business with .,
Good family firms like this are rare to find that deliver on there promises and are true to there word .

This local company will listen patiently and advise wisely so you finish with the solar system you had hoped for at a reasonable price. The installation team are incredibly fast and efficient as well as a pleasure to have around! The ongoing care and assistance is rare and reassuring.

Lewis and the Solar Prospects team did an excellent job of installing my system. From the outset everything was clearly and honestly explained and there was absolutely no pressure or pushy sales pitch.

Based on our energy usage and objectives, I was provided with a very detailed proposal of the recommended configuration, which included current and forecasted solar generation usage graphs, tables and the payback period based on the position of our house, roof pitch etc. These stats were key to my decision to move forward, which was a no-brainer. It's been live for 3 months but despite the many gloomy days so far, the solar generation has far exceeded the forecast and my expectations, so I am very happy.

I also have to say that the whole installation was really neat and tidy, with hardly any wiring being exposed, unlike most solar implementations I had seen locally. Olli the electrician was able to safely route the cabling so that they were not exposed as did Steve the roofer who lined up all 41 solar panels perfectly and routed all the cables through the loft space hidden behind the rafters. Lewis, Kelly and Leah have responded to all my qureies pretty much immediately.

The whole team were polite, pleasant, professional, very friendly, and highly motivated.

I rarely write a review, but I felt these guys did such an amazing job. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting Solar energy installed.

We have installed our solar system with Solar Prospects and we really recommend them. Very professional and friendly people. Our roof area was very hard to access, we have a glass terrace, but they managed it. After installing one 11 kw battery we have installed another one and now we are waiting for the third and probably forth to be installed.
We are extremely happy because we went with them for our solar system, that because our lovely neighbour Kevin had his installed first.

I recently had one of the most pleasant experiences with Leah Douglas from Solar Prospects.
She has wonderful telephone skills, amazing patience, a joy too speak with on the phone and has a very rare drive to go the extra mile for her customers.
Due to her passion to go the extra mile i entrusted Leah with my work number to help support her further with any future arising issues that may occur in the future. This is not normal for me to do this but as she is such a hard worker and a pleasure too speak with i felt it was more a privilege to have her as a contact.
Looking forward to our next encounter and working together in the future!

The team did a thorough survey of my roof and suggested a way round specific problems (which a previous installer had not been able to address). The work was done on time and although it took slightly longer than we all expected because of my specific roof, they always kept me informed on progress. The team were efficient and friendly and got on with it. The system works well and I'd have no hesitation in recommending Solar Prospects. They know what they are talking about and deliver a good product at a good price

The salesman (Alex) was not pushy at all and explained everything you needed to know in great detail. The installation was quick only taking a day to install 11 Solar Panels, an Inverter and a large capacity battery. Everything was explained to me and I was shown how to work the system on the day of installation. The after sales service was second to none with the company setting up the import and export of my power to my best advantage.
I am very pleased with the outcome and highly recommend this company for its great efficiency in installing and setting up my Solar Panel system.
My electricity bill is basically the standing charge as I generate enough power for self usage and sell the excess back to Octopus my service provider.

I originally started talking to Lewis, Glenn and the team back in Feb. Finally pulled the trigger and invested in solar. They have completed the work and I’m absolutely delighted.

Firstly, the team, very easy to work with, no pushy sales, just honest dialogue and patient work. When I started looking into this and contacting companies I was bombarded with calls and invites for home visits. Lewis first call was very different. Felt like just having a chat. No questions on appointments, no home visits, just asked me what I wanted. Simple, easy.

Install was rapid and well organised. Scaffold up the day before, guys who did that were great too. Very funny gentleman, next day Solar installed and running great, that first night seeing that your running on your own power felt weirdly exciting.

Shout out to installers Ollie and Steven. very personable. Work was clean and looked the business.

If you’re looking at solar, need a kind and patient service that won’t hard sell, start a dialogue with these guys. You won’t regret it.

Lewis was recommended by friend who recently had solar systems done from Lewis. We spoke last week,Lewis came looked at the property and gave us quote.previously have been talking and having different quotes from different people but because of our roof layout and attick everyone was offering us 5 or 6 panels and price was too much but Lewis managed 9panels and good systems which was brilliant and I actually did not think of reading reviews of company as my friends who recommended me are very fussy and they research about everything before investing so I just trusted Lewis and iam very glad l had my systems installed yesterday and its up and running. Price was very good comparing to other companies which I been keep having quotes, services was good, installing team was very good polite young lads,they knew what they are doing, came early morning and finished by4pm and patiently explained all the app systems on our phones and helped to install the app.iam very happy with Lewis and team will definitely highly recommend them. Everything was quick,smooth and easy.

Lewis is very knowledgeable and very easy to talk to about the panels, inverter and batteries. We had a lovely chat from the beginning up to the end. And also on how many panels we will need for the house. Not only was Lewis very flexible but he also gave an open book quote for us to review. The price is very fair for the product and service we have received. We highly recommend this company for solar installation.

From the start till the installation completed we have been very happy with the service provided by Solar Prospects. Lewis was completely NON-pressuring regarding signing a deal. Their prices were excellent! A well-known national rival company quoted about 90% more before they gave a discount, that even then did not beat their price! The installation done by Ben was very neat and he found the best place for the inverter and battery. They were patient with all my questions and provided additional information when asked. Their availability to install was also great. I’d highly recommend them.

We had Solar Prospects install solar panels on our house. The whole experience has been straightforward, painless and overall our electric bills have been significantly reduced.

Initially Lewis visited us and explained how the system would work and approximately the saving that we could achieve. Lewis was also able to show us how the panels would look on the roof. Although the final panel layout changed slightly during the installation, the install team laid them out really well and we’re really pleased with the final product.

The installers were really good. Very polite and respectful. Happy to spend time discussing cable routes and the best place to install the battery and inverter. We have recently had another electrician working in our house and he has said their install is one of the best he’s seen.

The installers also helped set up the app so we can easily monitor how the solar panels are working from day to day.

Overall our energy bills have been significantly reduced which is what we had wanted to achieve. Solar Prospects have been brilliant throughout the process. They’ve been so good we have already recommended them to friends.

My East/West solar split, together with batteries was installed by Solar Prospects back in November 2023 and I’ve waited to do a review so I could experience the set up working over different seasons. It has worked faultlessly and has dramatically reduced my electric bill. Dealing with Lewis was totally painless and I would actually describe him as very honourable. He and his team are totally motivated to do a great job. It is worth saying I was recently approached by HIES, who wanted to do an audit and the feedback from the inspector was that it was one of the best installs he’d seen. I highly recommend Lewis and his team.

From 1st engagement to installation we have had great customer service with complete involvement and good communication. Really pleased with the product and the finished look too !
