The technicians who installed the solar panels and bracketry were very good; the electrician was also excellent and everything was done within 48 hours. However, since the installation, the company has not responded to any phone calls, eMails, WhatsApp. I soon found that they have gone bust. Laura who is the admin person did respond and has eventually put together a complete handover pack, including the paid invoices, so I can now process the paperwork for the SEG. Laura probably deserves several stars for her work, however, Jake Warpole the director and sales should get zero stars. If they were still in business, I would say " Don't touch with someone's barge pole". I don't know where J Warpole has gone after this debacle.

I understand Solidarity have stopped operating now, but wanted to comment on positive and also very negative experiences. Firstly, the team who did the work - Paul, Damien and Lee - were all great, and the installation seems fine too. But Jacob Walpole has been completely unprofessional from start to finish, not responding to calls or emails, and not telling his team what we had ordered meaning that we've not benefited from the full installation we'd agreed on (in particular an app to monitor our optimisers). We've also currently had scaffolding left around our house for nearly 4 weeks! and neither us nor Solidarity's administrator can get him to tell us their contact details!!! Soldarity's proposal was good but it's not been worth the hassle to deal with them. I understand Jake has now got a new employer and wish them best of luck with him!

We would thoroughly recommend Jake and Solidarity Solar. From the outset when we were collecting quotes they were responsive and immediately came across as knowledgeable but not at all pushy on the sales front. Jake understood what we needed and answered lots of techy questions. The proposed design – negotiating an awkward roof shape and windows - covered a couple of options with number of panels and battery size so we could weigh up in detail exactly how we wanted to proceed. In the end we went with 8 panels and battery.

Especially impressed with the firm’s ethics – Jake explained they use Eurener panels as other leading brands have questionable provenance via Chinese workshops or even links to slave trade.
When they came for a site visit and viewed everything, again everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful, answering questions with confidence. The quote was competitive in price and the only one where we felt we’d got everything just as we wanted. Based on this and a recommendation from a friend, we had no hesitation choosing to go with Solidarity.

When it came to the job they were great. The first day of fitting threw up a problem with our roof tiles as some of the mortar was old (or even missing), which held them up. But they were happy to address this and rather than hold up the job or insist we got a roofer in they tackled the issue and fixed the offending tiles at no extra cost to us – we’re very grateful for this.

The roof fitters and electrician were super – worked hard and left everything tidy. As of today (day 2 after fitting) – everything is now bedded in, the panels and battery are working fine and the GivEnergy App is working exactly as explained to us.

So overall a very positive experience.

A date and time was agreed and kept. The work was carried out and the people were very courteous and helpful. I can highly recommend this company.

We found Solidarity Solar through recommendation from a customer in our village. From first contact to completion easy to speak to and explained it all in simple terms.

They use good quality equipment and the guys that fitted it were very friendly and got on with the job.

The price seemed reasonable as well against other quotes we had.

The team were friendly, turned up when they said they would and efficient. I'm very happy with the installation and the panels, my only complaint would be that the app I was told would tell me how it was working ,doesn't work and when I asked about it,(twice), nobody came back to me.

Really helped me out when I needed it! Was let down by another company massively. Rang Jake who was able to get my whole job arrange and finished in a super quick time and an excellent price. Better still it was a really tidy job and I’m blown away by the results. Thanks again! I couldn’t recommend this company enough

The company was recommended to us from two people so that was a head start
Tom is very knowledgeable and helpful , the whole team were great friendly courteous tidy from Ben to the electricians and were able to answer all our questions ( probably many very silly or obvious ! )
When contacted with queries they responded quite quickly and answered them to our satisfaction and ensured we were happy before leaving site

Ben diagnosed and remedied an issue with my off-grid array. Great, friendly service and so good to find a solar guy not intent on selling me a costly/unnecessary replacement. Would definitely use Solidarity Solar again and have referred them too.
