Appalling service
Appalling service. Booked a taxi the day before and said I was catching a train - when it was 5 minutes late I phoned to find out where it was - I said it was urgent as I had a train to catch. Woman on phone said she would phone driver straight away and get back to me. 10 minutes I later I had still had no return call and had to phone Solo back to chase them again - only to be told ‘the driver has had an emergency and Im trying to find you another taxi’ So now this taxi is over 15 minutes late with no idea of when (or if!) they’ll be able to find another one.
Journey to station should have taken 15 mins max and I should have had a minimum of a full 20 mins there before the train left.
If they had phoned me when the taxi was due to say there was a delay or they couldnt now provide a taxi, it wouldn’t have been great, but at least I could have got an uber in time to catch my train. As it was, by the time I had managed to chase them up a second time, and still had no idea of when or if a taxi would come, it was impossible to book another taxi in time for me to get my train (I did try both Uber and Veezu) - needless to say, I missed my train, was an hour late getting to my destination, and had 2 other people hanging around waiting for me.
I am sick to death of companies who just cannot be bothered to provide the service they have supposedly offered and confirmed 😡- at best they are inept, and at worse just don’t care enough about their customers to keep them informed and try and get a problem sorted out swiftly and efficiently. If I could have given them minus stars it would have been a full MINUS 5 stars
Based on my own experience - do not touch this company with a barge pole!!
Totally unreliable and inept!
