The only thing that wasn’t 10/10 was the size recommendations, as I ended up going for a size that wasn’t recommended and fits me perfectly, but that is such an individual thing so I don’t want that to spoil the review:)

The Dress I've Been Dreaming to Buy!
I've been a fan of Son de Flor for a long time, but I wasn't in a financial spot to purchase one of the dresses until very recently. I'm so glad I did buy it. I love the fabric, the way it suits my curves perfectly and how versatile it is! I felt incredible the first time I tried it on, even with it still being very wrinkled from the journey! I love it so, so, so much, and I'm certain this is the first of many items I'll purchase from you in the future.

From skeptical to satisfied!! …
I was leery about ordering from this company because I first became aware of them from Instagram & they are located in Europe. I took a chance, used their sizing guide and have been absolutely thrilled with each purchase, how quickly they arrive which is close if not less than the specified date. Their customer service is absolutely top notch. I’ve had two custom made pieces ordered that took quite a bit of back and forth communication & all emails have been responded to in a short time even though they are 10 hours different then my time zone.
I love that the items are linen. Linen comes in different weights and the weight they use is a good quality, not light & flimsy. Yes linen wrinkles that’s the nature of the fabric. The colors they choose are very color saturated. I’m 1000% percent pleased with my items.

The perfect dress for me
I just received the mini black carmen dress. As I put on some weight recently due to health issues I didn't feel that comfortable anymore. I was looking for a dress that would hide all of my insecurities, look feminine and would be wearable for everyday. The dress I ordered turned out to be just that! I put it on straight from the box and didn't want to take it off anymore. Now I have a problem though, I want it in every colour:D I'm looking forward to the autumn colours to come in and I might have to order another one:D

They have great customer service and clothing of course
They have great customer service. When I accidentally got my size wrong for a dress they got back to me right away. The clothing itself is comfortable and non synthetic. Which is a welcome change. I’ve never worn linen and it’s quite durable and comfortable for you to wear that allows your body to breathe. And it makes you confident as you go out in public despite it being formal in some eyes. They are on the more expensive side but since it comes from a small business that plants trees along with it being linen it makes it worth it to buy at least one of their garments.

Very satisfied with my purchase
Great products made of beautiful, sophisticated designs and qualitative, long-living linen material. You can easily combine the garments with clothes of different styles. The prices are, well, let's say you might have to save up a bit but they are totally fair considering what your purchase will do. Very eco-friendly and inclusive company, which makes you want to buy more and change your wardrobe into a slow fashioned and sustainable one. Also, the virtual fitting room was accurate for me. This is very helpful if you have not enough money to reach the free shipping of 300 € at a time; and the shipping fee is more than 10 € (Lithuania to Germany). Payment was easy and delivery was fast (sent the morning after payment in the night, shipment tracking, received within a week). The packaging was safe for my dress, easy to open and not wasteful. Finally, I would like to mention that the newsletters are very nicely written including information how to handle your garments as well as how to wear them, and that the community on instagram gives great inspiration for your style. My purchase was totally worth it and I will buy more in the future!

Beautiful Fabric but Poor Craftsmanship
I really like the fabric and the silhouette of the Son de Flor dresses and skirts. But with almost all items I order, there is some kind of issue due to bad craftsmanship.
I own 5 dresses and 1 skirt from past orders. I have ordered 4 more items that I sent back after having examined them.
Here is my experience with Son de Flor so far:
- On 4 of the items I ordered so far, the hemline is uneven with differences of up to 5cm. This is especially obvious because of the white lining.
- I have 4 items with buttons. On 3 of those items (Classic Dress, Classic Skirt, Carmen Dress) at least one button fell off on the first wear. I had to re-attach it.
- The waist circumference of the Classic Skirt can vary by about 5cm for two skirts of the same size within the same order.
- After wearing the Classic Skirt twice, the zipper seam became undone, so that I had to redo it by hand.
- On a Carmen Dress that I ordered and returned, the waist seam was so sloppily finished that it was already coming loose when I took the dress out of the package. On the same dress the fabric on the sleeve got caught while surging the seam allowence.
While the linen fabric used for these garments is beautiful, I expect better quality for clothing in this price range.

Beautiful well made dresses. The virtual fitting room is good, take your measurements, adjust it and look at the dimensions of the garments. My body shape means I fit different sizes in different styles. Everything I have gotten is very pleasant to wear and I get a lot of compliments. Customer service interactions have been top notch.
