Whatever you do, do not do business with Sonic Auto Transportation. Anthony Daniel and the entire company are con artists. They price you low and it end up costing you 3 times as much. Buyer beware.

To clarify how the process works, we operate as a car shipping broker in the auto transport industry. That means we provide estimated quotes for nationwide car shipping and then work to assign a licensed carrier for the actual vehicle transport service. The final price is not set by us, it’s determined by the carrier based on real-time market conditions, route demand, fuel prices, seasonality, and current availability in the auto transport network.
Because of that, the initial quote is an estimate meant to reflect expected market rates, but it can adjust if carrier pricing shifts before pickup.
We understand that price changes can be disappointing, and we work hard to keep customers informed and to balance both cost and service quality throughout the vehicle transport service process.

Flawless Experience
I transported my Subaru Ascent from Portland, OR to Asheville, NC for a 2 month stay. Sonic provided a quote prior to the escalation in gas prices. As reasonably expected, once the date for pick up of my vehicle arrived, obviously, the carriers were demanding higher prices to compensate for the increase in operating costs. Christian did an excellent job negotiating with the carriers to obtain a revised quote reasonably in line with the original quote. My vehicle was picked up by the carrier in Portland at 10:30 AM PST on Monday and delivered to Asheville at 6:00 AM EST (3 AM PST) Wednesday morning. I will definitely consider using Christian and the same carrier for my trek back to Portland.

Excellent service from start to finish. Sonic transported my car from Florida to California with zero issues, on time, and in perfect condition. The Agent, Mateo R., was very responsive whenever I had a question and made me feel comfortable with the process. Huge shoutout to the driver, Alejandro V., who was professional and communicated effectively. Highly recommend!

We’d like to clarify how the process works, as transparency is very important to us. As a broker, our role is to act as an intermediary between you and the carrier. While we work diligently to secure fair pricing and reliable options, please note that the final cost of transporting your vehicle is ultimately determined by the carrier, based on their availability and other factors such as route demand, seasonality, and fuel costs within the car shipping market.
Regarding the cancellation penalties: Your agreement was valid for five (5) business days from the first available pick-up date you provided. According to the terms of the agreement, a cancellation fee would have been assessed in this situation.
H. Carrier Assignment Window: Broker shall have up to five (5) business days from the Customer’s first available date to assign a Carrier. Should the Customer choose to cancel the agreement before the expiration of this period, a cancellation fee of $200 will apply.
We understand this may be frustrating, and that’s never the experience we want for our customers. Our goal is always to provide reliable auto transport and a smooth door-to-door auto transport process, while working within real-time nationwide car shipping market conditions.

Worked with Trevor. After getting screwed by another company a month ago, this one "delivered" in many ways, not just the vehicle. The process was explained well, the response time was consistent and fast, the communication all along the process outstanding. The pickup went well as did the drop-off for the people at each POC. PRICING was on point. I got lucky finding Sonic and Trevor.

I had an excellent experience with SONIC AUTO TRANSPORTATION for transporting my vehicle from Florida to Arizona. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. My car was delivered right on time, exactly as promised, and in perfect condition at a reasonable price.
What really stood out to me was the dispatching service. GRACE was incredibly professional, responsive, and kept me updated throughout the entire journey. Any questions I had were answered, and I always felt reassured that my car was in good hands.
