Brilliant service

Absolutely impressed with SoonAs, from start to finish!

Firstly, it was so easy to book online, and pick a date/time that suited me.

Secondly, communication was excellent throughout, the customer service team must be commended

Thirdly, my items were collected and delivered exactly as planned

Fourth, the driver (Lina) was polite, friendly and helpful, taking my goods through to my garden at my request, rather than leaving them on the drive.

Finally, the price is competitive and very reasonable

I’ll definitely use again and recommend to friends and family

Great Company

Great Company

Easy and Professional service. Booked job using SoonAs Get Quote on my phone. Collection and delivery then arranged direct with the driver through the simple messaging function. I was able to track my goods every step of the way.Items were collected and delivered on time and handled with the upmost care. Would use again.

service was easy, payment secure

Used other services like shiply and anyvan before, but didn’t get the costs down enough, and was asked to pay the driver direct! I used sooonas and it was easy and reasonable, and I paid them directly, not the driver… which helped cause if the driver had an issue, I wouldn’t lose my money!
It’s not a perfect system, but I like the idea and I think in time it’ll be great, something I will use again no problem.

Pleasantly surprised

Was dubious at first, putting in a delivery and waiting for drivers to bid just sounded strange to me, but I was pleasantly surprised. Had to ship my bedroom set from London to the Midlands, and found that the service just worked. Driver bid, I accepted and paid directly on the system. I had no issues.

The driver from hell

The driver I chose to take the contents of a flat from one city to another proved to be a dreadful choice for delivering my possessions safely and without damage.

There was initial trouble getting a driver and Soonas customer services helped me find this man. He turned up with a helper. She turned out to be a small and slightly build person who started helping out after a short while decided to sit out the rest of the pickup.

The driver had 'forgotten' that he had a couple of sofas in the back of his van and asked me if he could leave them by the side of my flat. He would return to pick them up later that day, he said. He had to be reminded to this some days later when a neighbour phoned to say the sofas were still there.

The drop-off. I arrived at the storage unit and was angered to see that my stuff had clearly been chucked into the unit without care or consideration. The mattress, put in a plastic protected sheath, was soiled. A standard lampstand was broken, a chair leg was stuck through a box containing a now damaged printer. There were scuffs and knocks to furniture and boxes were strewn across the unit. Some damage will happen when you move things, but not like this. This was a man who simply did not give a damn about my stuff. He shouldn't be allowed to do removals.

Soonas say they will not use him again. But if he changes his profile how can they prevent him from picking up more business? All this points to the limits of this digital self-service business model.

The Soonas support team were helpful, but the outcome of all this has been one dreadful service.
