don't waste your time

This was the worst "resort" experience I have ever had in my life. No valet, no bell hop, no elevators, no pool attendants, I could go on forever. This place was a ghost town. The rooms are run down and riddled with ants. The room has smelly and stained carpeting! The buffet was very disappointing, so we had no other choice but to eat at the bar during the so-called comedy hour. The level of racism and homophobia was outrageous. The host allows his children to run around the bar all night long asking for "tips". He exploits his own son who he introduced as "the autistic one" by entering him into a "mullet contest". Anyone who knows anything about autism would never allow their children in a loud bar @11 pm. He allows his 9–10-year-old daughter to ask drunken men for tips, he should be ashamed. When we complained we were met with "welcome to Texas". Needless to say, we checked out 2 days early and went half mile down the road to Margaritaville Resort. I would have given zero stars if possible.
