So, yet another smooth transaction with James - Sound Affair, should need any products or advice I would definitely recommend their services and to be honest wouldn’t go anywhere else. Good communication, great service, and both prompt and reliable.

James came to our boat to collect some B and O speaker and ancillary equipment. Agreeing a value and arranging the collection was a simple process, payment was prompt and with no issues. Fully recommend him and his obvious detailed knowledge of the equipment

From the moment I made contact with James I received nothing but the best of service.
I was importing the system and speakers and they arrived in time very well packaged in excellent condition.
Couldn't recommend both the service and the product highly enough.

I ordered a Beolab 2 subwoofer. According to the information on the website, the Beolab 2 on offer was described as follows:
"BeoLab 2 is in stunning condition and sounds amazing. We would mark the overall condition a very strong 9/10, please view photos. A beautiful example of a BeoLab 2. Supplied with original packaging, original manuals, power and speaker cable."
The serial number and year of production were also stated.

After two weeks (delivery abroad) I received the Beolab 2 neatly packaged (original packaging from B&O). So far so good.

BUT after unpacking I was disappointed for a few reasons:
- The condition did not correspond to the description and pictures on the website. The case was dusty and there were various scratches and marks on the membranes.
- Original manuals and speaker cable were missing.
- The serial number was not identical (I received an older model)

Conclusion 1: In my case, the goods I received did not correspond to the description and the offer on the website. The condition was also not as described. The Beolab 2 I ordered (and paid for) is still offered on the retailer's website!

I emailed the dealer about the above points and asked for a response within a week. The deadline has passed - I haven't heard anything to date and probably won't hear anything again...

Conclusion 2: the high standards of product quality and customer service described on the website were not met in my case.Overall, A DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.I could have just as easily ordered a used Beolab 2 on eBay.

What should the dealer do better:
- deliver exactly the product described, ordered and paid for
- deliver the quality of the product offered and promised
- deliver the accessories described in full
- Improve customer service (respond to inquiries)

I was looking for a new stylus for my treasured B&O turntable, James was very helpful and provided me with the right information to order what I needed .
The stylus arrived very well packed and I can now listen to my vinyl again .
And I get money back for sending my old stylus back ,

Simply fantastic! I purchased a superb pair of B&O Beolab 9's from James, who was so helpful and professional, it felt like nothing was too much trouble. They were perfectly packed and shipped overnight by UPS, arriving at 8.45am. By 9.30am I had a superb wall of sound from these immaculate speakers! I would highly recommend Sound Affair!

I was selling a Beosound 3200 and a pair of Beolab 6000 speakers. I accepted what I considered to be a fair offer. James (a very pleasant individual) collected the items as promised, including keeping me informed on the day of his estimated arrival time. He paid the agreed price by bank transfer while he was with me. I have to say, in these sad days of scams and deceit, it was a pleasure to deal with someone whose integrity and honesty was never in doubt.

I recently purchased a pre-owned BeoSound 9000 CD player from James at Sound-Affair and cannot fault the exemplary service, advice & after sales care I received from this company & their brilliant technician Simon. The 9000 arrived expertly packaged within a few days of purchase and really exceeded my expectations. It was in absolute pristine/ mint condition and despite being pre-owned looked brand new & exactly as described on line.
Unfortunately it had a minor technical issue that James & Simon dealt with promptly & professionally to my complete satisfaction. James also took the time patiently explain options around pairing the CD player with my existing B&O speaker system.
I won’t hesitate to use this company again & would highly recommend anyone interested in pre-owned Bang & Olufsen to purchase from this great company.

My fiancées father died recently. He left behind an old Beosound1 that I wanted to use in his memory.

I set it up with a Bluetooth receiver via the 'aux' input.

I thought it'd be great to have a Beo4 remote to use with it. Ordered one from ebay and it was faulty.

Came across Sound Affair and ordered one from them.

I was pretty gobsmacked at the condition of the remote. It was like new and was in full working order.

Considering these remotes are pretty old now, I was thrilled with the one Sound Affair sent me.

I spoke to them on the phone and communicated via email and it was a pleasure to deal with them.

Can't praise them highly enough.

If you are looking to purchase Bang &Olufsen products, look no further! Sound-Affair exceeded my expectations. I purchased used beolab 18 speakers and they came in like new condition. They were packaged in the original packaging, they looked brand new. I was even asked what I would be connecting the speakers to and was given speakers cables with the speakers. I would highly recommend!

What a seamless and pleasurable experience, offered a great price and transferred the money immediately.

James collected the goods didn't need any help carrying the equipment to his vehicle, and arrived when he said he would. Clearly understands this product well, will do business again great company!!
