Above and beyond

I was in a really tough spot, being asked to do a pcr test 48 hours before my flight with ever increasing costs. I decided to go with boots (who used bioscience) hoping that the results would come back in closer to 24 hours after. They did not, but after emailing bioscience - who were very prompt - Emma T was able to give me a status update and I received the results much earlier than indicated allowing me to visit my family for the holidays. Very helpful and no doubt working under tremendous strain

Pay a bit more and go with a better company.

Pay a bit more and go with a better company. We used the day 2 PCR service because they were the cheapest we could find... We should have paid more and gone with someone else. Took four days to acknowledge the tests had been received back to them and whilst I understand this is partly the Royal Mails fault but they choose to use them. There is no contact number available for Source BioScience and the customer services only respond by email which they say they will reply in two hours but had to wait days. Not worth it, use someone else!

Day 2 PCR - Overall satisfied and good value

Overall satisfied with Day 2 PCR. Tests arrived before 9am on day after our evening arrival from travels. I decided to hand deliver the tests due to potential Xmas delivery delays and the issues this company are currently having managing the volume of orders. Confirmation of receipt email was immediate. Results arrived 25 hours after confirmation of receipt. Hopefully they are beginning to get through the backlog and will revert to consistently good service.

Crap company

Crap company. Scammers, no result yet for my fit to fly certificate, sample sent 2 days ago and I unfortunately couldn’t fly. Scammers. Beware. Refund me my money.

Great service for PCR testing

Have used several time for PCR testing for travel and had no issues. Always been fast to respond and great turnaround.

Totally not recommended

Totally not recommended! Still waiting for my day 2 test which I sent 3 days ago... No help whatsoever from the customer service. Fraud advertising with 24h results. Quick to help to order but no help afterwards. Really disappointed, never gonna use again.

Absolute Joke! Still waiting 1 week later!

We ordered the test 2 days before returning home. They arrived the day after returned; no response to my email in that time. Returned the test the same day, 8th December, still waiting for the results, it is now 14th Dec and still waiting! No replies to our emails or calls. We have had to isolate, my partner is unable to work. Please do not use and I will be reporting this company to the regulator.

Update…
So, we receive a reply at long last at midday saying they issued the results to our covid tests 2 hours previously. Am I missing something here? What results and what refund? Where?

It’s not good enough to say ‘due to high demand’ then why continue to take the orders for the tests!

What a waste..

Sent the sample on Sunday, Royal Mail tracker says it reached this morning however no word from the company. They are not acknowledging the receipt because they won't be able to process in time. Wrote an e mail but no response. Chose it because of recommendation from Which, however I think they got it wrong. Use Randox, used many times in past and have never been disappointed. Guys please remove 24 hour processing time promise from your website and stop sending automated rubbish response to these complaints rather than that post it on your website so that people know what's going to happen.

Awful !

Awful. Day 2 PCR sent off priority postage days ago and still no word of results. Seeing most other reviews are the same. No response to customer service. Waste of time !

The royal mail tracking states that my sample was delivered early this morning, yet I haven't heard of BioScience since, there was no update in the status of my order contrary to what it states on their website. When will my sample be analyzed ???? I have proof it has been received from Royal Mail.

No customer service

Sample sent out on Priority box on Saturday morning before 10am for a Day 2 test, this is Tuesday 4pm. Have heard absolutely nothing. Sent out several emails and asked whether the samples had been received, absolutely nothing. In the meantime, life is on hold.
Not sure whether sample had been lost or they just processed yet. Surely it is easy enough to put a box on the status to say sample not received, being processed

NO PCR TEST BEEN WAITING SINCE…

NO PCR TEST BEEN WAITING SINCE 06.12.2021.

Ordered tests on 06.12.2021 and Still waiting for them.

Source BioScience have ignored all correpondence, emails, phone calls.

£70.00 wasted on two tests - If the company can't provide the service they've promised they need to refund in full.

Don't bother!

Returned home from holiday late Saturday night so did our test Sunday morning and posted in a priority post box but haven't heard a thing! It's been over 48 hours and I haven't even received an email to say you have received my tests back as stated you would. Beginning to lose hope.

It's a scam! Don't use.

I've been waiting for my results since Saturday 11/12/2021, posted early via priority service early on 11/12/2021, results should have arrived within 24 hrs. I emailed the company 4 times by now, haven't received any reply whatsoever except automated messages that yesterday said that somebody would contact me within 2 hrs and today said that somebody would contact me in 4 hours. Still nothing. I called several times and of course not able to speak to anybody. I used an online contact form too asking for them to contact me - no reply! This is unacceptable, I expect a full refund as I need to get tested elsewhere now. I'm reporting this company as it's totally unacceptable to charge people if they are not able to provide service.

15:13 I see that I got a reply from the lab - wow! somebody is actually there? unless it's an automated message...
my confidence that somebody will actually be in touch regarding my case is close to zero.
I have submitted a formal complaint and refund request to them and urge all customers not to ever use this company.

Update: 16/12/2021
My test results were sent yesterday afternoon, my partner's results are still not available regardless of us sending them the exact same time. My partner is missing 4th day of work due to this as he can't work from home!!! Who is going to reimburse his lost earnings?????
Our friend who submitted her test sample late on Sunday 12/12/2021 so over a day after us, got her results yesterday afternoon. There is no logic in it at all.
Also, up to now NOBODY has contacted me from the customer service regarding my emails, complaint and this review. This is unacceptable, I'm raising my complaint further. I understand if they are overwhelmed but not replying to numerous enquiries from customers for 5 days in situation where people are not able to go to work due to this delay is beyond poor customer service. My partner would like to know if his test got lost so he gets tested elsewhere if that's the case. How is he suppose to know if we're not able to speak to anybody????
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.

Very slow - do not recommend!!!

Choose another company

This company doesn’t respond in a timely manner to emails, they don’t dispatch tests on time, they don’t acknowledge receipt of tests so that they can still promise “ Results within 24hrs from PCR receipt of sample at Laboratory”. Since when does receipt of sample mean when they bother to actually email you and not when it arrived and was signed for?

Also, the Royal Mail delivery which they choose does not deliver during the weekend. Tests posted on a Friday are not delivered until Tuesday. Other testing companies choose different Royal Mail delivery options so that they are delivered quickly. I can see Source bio continually on their reviews blame Royal Mail. However, they chose the Royal Mail delivery option and they don’t dispatch on time and they don’t email to say the test has been received (at this point it’s 8 hours after royal mail tracking said it was signed for)

Don’t use.

Terrible customer service.

Test kit not dispatched on time.

Weekend delivery takes several days to arrive (Friday-Tuesday) for us. If you are interested in your freedom after returning from overseas then don’t use this company.

No one responds to emails.

Phones not answered it states to use email to contact for COVID tests.

Once tests have arrived at the lab (Royal Mail tracking shows arrival) they do not acknowledge receipt. My only guess as to the reason for this that they can continue to claim results within 24 hours of recipes at the lab. Not confirming receipt does not mean it has not been received.

All I can see on the reviews is that they blame Royal Mail, as they did with me. Royal Mail, however, doesn’t choose the delivery service which they choose. It doesn’t choose their dispatch times and it also doesn’t fail to confirm receipt so that they can falsely extent the testing time and claim to meet their 24 hour turnaround.

Big Fail

Sent my test off on Friday 10th December for 24 hour results. My sister set hers on the same day from a different location. She received an acknowledgement on Saturday morning and her results on Sunday. I have not received an acknowledgement and am still awaiting results. I am due to return to work today but am unable to do so I have paid for nothing and it's costing me money as I will not be paid for today. The phone number doesn't allow you to speak to anyone about covid and I have now sent three emails. The first one responded saing that they wouldn't have received it until Monday 13th but m sister's was acknowledged and results available on 11th and 12th resepectively. This is not a service that I could possible recommend or will ever use again.

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. Haven't received my covid kit yet (today is my day 2)! The customer service doesn't reply to my emails and I'm confused what to do! Apparently this is a new business for many companies and they do not care about testing people to avoid spreading the virus!
