Stolen my money - no order, no goods.
Tried to purchase a desk phone online and order failed due to a system error at their end. I spoke with customer service who assured me that I would not be charged for it. I then tried the purchase again and their website worked and my phone was delivered. Meanwhile the funds for the original FAILED order that has no order number was still be held by Panasonic in my account. Despite numerous chats and emails with them, no one could provide the information my bank need to release the hold on the payment so the money was available to me again and I would have to wait a month before the hold automatically dropped off. Well today I check my account and they've fully taken the money for the FAILED order - remember there is no order number for it. Customer support is not available at the weekend. This is some of the worst customer service I have experienced. They've literally just stolen my money!
What's happened to Panasonic
What's happened to Panasonic? I bought a TV from Panasonic and it was a complete let down, poor user interface and not very user friendly, the HDMI e-arc out feed to my soundbar (Ultimea 5.1 system) which also has e-arc ended up with no sound, I tried and tried going into TV settings, changing cables etc and switching on the settings recommended after looking at a few youtube videos showing the problem. This did not work and after speaking with tech help on Amazon they couldn't fix it either. I gave up in the end and thought better send it back to base. So it's packed up ready to go back I will have to try another company.
Check to see if you are getting a genuine makers item
I have had many Panasonic products in my 80 years mostly they were reasonable quality, but my last encounter regarding their microwaves leaves a bit to be desired. I have two Panasonic microwaves one with a stainless steel inside which Is, fine but the one with a painted interior is garbage. They rust badly and could cause health problems due to rust.
Most products for use in cooking have a lining of stainless steel,or are made of none rusting materials.
When mine showed signs of rust I decided to change it.
Panasonic gave me a small discount but would not send a replacement.I did ask for an extended warranty, but was told you can only have a five year warranty on the more expensive models and only if you ask BEFORE you purchase. How strange.Do they perhaps not want you to have a warranty in case of rust problems.
One other thing you buy a Panasonic product for its name, quality, reliability and the fact that it's a good Japanese product. Not any more ,most of their microwaves are manufactured in China. Not altogether bad ,but other very similar microwaves, size, output, dimensions are available at. Almost half the Panasonic price. So perhaps If your buying a microwave a tv or any other electrical product you might consider looking at other manufacturers items rather than being ripped off ,I know I certainly will. it could be just as good, but not hiding under a Panasonic badge. I await Panasonic's reply.
I received Panasonic s B.S. reply today. They accused us of not cleaning the microwave after use causing the heat to burn through the paint causing rust.surely that's a lie as the inside would have smelled of burning and the food would have been tainted. The other Panasonic microwave we have is fine it's older than the one in question,(has the quality gone down may I ask.)As I said before is this later microwave a cheaper product.Perhaps Panasonic are not the quality company they once were(hence all the bad feedback)
Be aware good reliable companies Don't get bad feedback .Poor unreliable ones DO..... STAY CLEAR!!!

I have never had so much hassle in buying spare parts for my electric shaver. The web based store did not recognize their own part numbers. Many hours of agro eventually got the parts. Would not use them again.

Screen burn for watching sky news a few hours due to the pandemic.
The yellow banner at the bottom now there all the time and breaking news can be seen on every channel. Quoted more than I paid for TV for the repair from Panasonic. Do not buy Panasonic there not built to handle still images. Waste of money only had 20 months, poor customer service that offered no solution other than I should of been changing the channel during adverts.
Really Good Products
I've had 2 Lumix Cameras and they've been excellent I've also had a TV and it's been excellent it's lasted over 7 years.
Brought a 55in 4k UHD HDR TV
Brought a 55in 4k UHD HDR TV, delivered fine, installed on the wall and when I started it up 3 areas of dead pixels.
Panasonic's response was basically ' these things get missed' and when I challenged them on their QC process was basically told 'it happens'
They offered to have it picked up and refunded but won't pay for it's removal from the wall as all the cables are behind my plaster board and as I don't have the original packaging I'm liable for any damages in return transit.
Shocking from a 'big brand', avoid! If it goes wrong they really don't care!
I bought a high end oled tv 11 months…
I bought a high end oled tv 11 months ago and panasonic are not honouring their warranty for the dead pixels. I have been a long time fan of panasonic and was shocked by the treatment I received. I will never buy a panasonic product ever again.
Out-of-stock and no contact.
Ordered Panasonic 4k Blu-ray player from Panasonic Store for £99. Seemed a good deal. Received confirmation of order. 2 weeks later I was still waiting, and no money was taken. I telephoned customer service, who took my details and said they would have to speak to the stock department, but didn't reply. I then emailed, but still no reply. Eventually I used the Live Chat, which isn't always available. I was informed that the model had been discontinued and I wouldn't be getting my order, despite still being advertised on the website.
I love Panasonic, who make some of the best AV equipment, but their support leaves a lot to be desired. I'll purchased same product elsewhere.
panasonic tv's RIP OFF !

Abysmal Support from Panasonic UK
My new Panasonic oven that I paid over 300 pounds for is not working. It cant even make popcorn or porridge in it. It keeps switching itself off. My old panasonic microwave made it for 10 years. After numerous emails I finally received this response from Panasonic UK - Hilarious!!! So if you try and make porridge or popcorn in your Panasonic NN-CF778SBPQ microwave that cost 320 GBP it voids your warranty! You literally could not make this up:-))))
from panasonic
Dear Ms.XXXXX
Thank you for your e-mail reply.

Furthermore, please be advised that if the product will develop a fault caused upon heating up low in moisture products, the warranty will not apply as it is not considered a manufacturing fault.

Abysmal "support"
Abysmal "support", they can't even properly support their own products. Had a Panasonic Allplay SC-ALL30T soundbase that went wrong, took nearly 6 months to get it sorted (in the end it got replaced). Panasonic were very poor in responding, and their technical support limited, feeling like they didn't really know much about their own products either.
In addition to the abysmal support getting my soundbase fixed, I also have a pile of broken SC-ALL3 units, and get a inconsistent response from Panasonic if they will service them under warranty or not.
In the end, they are likely to just go in the bin.
Won't ever touch Panasonic brand ever again, their support is terrible, their service network is even worse.
Their products might be great - customer service exactly opposite
Their products might be great (as in the case of my combi Microwave/oven/grill, but their customer service is appalling.
Panasonic are disgusting
DO NOT BUY PANASONIC BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE Panasonic are disgusting. Have brand new tv that stays on for 3seconds has done since I have had it. They have tried to repair it 3 times and still not solved issue. Now been 6 months without a tv. Expensive tv no customer service
Home security
Panasonic take your money and don't care it the items work or not, I had purchased a home security system from maplin UK and I had problems with the cameras, chatting to Panasonic they were not interested I have problem and last email to them to solve problem they didn't even reply, disappointed with the service they provide. Just like a lot of big companies take your money and laugh at you when you have a problem
buying a tv
Polite and helpful but would have been nice to have been given extras such as glasses. I am always told of friends being offered extras. Also free delivery should be standard
Camera for my Panasonic TV
The service I received from Ashleigh was first class. She quoted me accurately, offered advice on an additional accessory, sent me an email conforming all the details and send it out to me as promised.
She then followed this up with a check email to see if I had received it. An unusually high level of service in the world today. Thank you.
Buying a new TV. What a nightmare until my visit to Panasonic.
There are so many TVs and manufacturers that working out what you want from your TV can be a nightmare. The staff at Currys didn't seem to interested in selling me a TV as I wasn't spending £2K. My visit to the Panasonic store was a pleasant surprise where I got to speak to a sales person who was not only knowledgable but also seemed to be very honest in what he told me advising me on what was current worthwhile technology and what was technology future proofing. I was so impressed that I bought a Panasonic TV within the hour after previous weeks of dithering. I am vey happy with my Panasonic TV. The only downside is that the picture is so good that the TV set scenery can look fake!
