D+ rated BROKER! Not movers! Beware!!

What a disaster. South East Moving Group is a BROKER. They are not the movers. You will end up with a classic bait and switch and unbeknownst to you, find out your move is scheduled with a BBB 'F' rated company like MAP Moving. I had a nightmare experience with MAP Moving (see reviews for details) brokered by South East - thanks South East. Once they have your deposit, they disappear and you are SOL and STILL don't know that you've been passed off to a loser company like MAP. In my case, I planned for one year of international work with my belongings stored during that time as part of move from FL to AZ. I had culled my things down to my most precious items so it was a small move. The pickup seemed OK-ish. Then I got the MAP bill for storage that had nothing to do with my SE contract and I was told by very rude Anna at MAP 'take it up with your broker.' Radio silence. So I had to scramble to relocate my stuff, paying extra fees, accepted delayed, under-staffed and damaged delivery and I don't know what else because it is all still in storage in new location while trying to finalize leaving the country. So message to all: SE MOVING GROUP IS A BROKER. They will act like the movers, say ANYTHING to get you to sign then shrug off concerns. You are left to sort it out with horrible movers you did not pick. Do not use moving brokers - especially not South East Moving group. Run if you hear MAP Moving.

Avoid at all costs

Do not use this company - they hire other companies to do your move. All they care about is a contract and the commission they get off that. Once that is signed it is out of their hands. You will pay a lot more money from the original quote price for some F rated moving company they contract out too. HIRE REAL MOVERS

If I could give this company a -5 I…

If I could give this company a -5 I would this is the biggest scam I have ever seen in my life. I booked this company in November 2022 for move of in January 2023 not only did they elect not to tell me that they were broker service which their contract states they are required to tell..They charged me $950 which apparently is the fee that they kept for hiring a third-party that I had never even heard of who had 22 complaints filed against them for basically theft and jacking up the price. I was guaranteed a quote of $2350 when the third-party arrived the day to pick up my stuff, and I questioned who they were I was told they were hired by Southeast Moving Group , my quote then went from 2300 to 3800. They also told me it could be 15 to 20 days before I get my furniture that was never told me in the initial hiring of Southeast Movers group Michelle that works at this business is the biggest liar I’ve ever met, and Scott, who is their quality man I have left seven messages 13 text none of which he will return. He is also a scammer , when I called their 800 number some man answered the phone trying to sell me hedge funds I have reported them to the DOT. I am reporting them to the office of inspector general and the man that owns this company has changed the name of this company numerous times for complaints being filed and owns numerous numerous businesses in the state of Florida All of which I’m sure are probably just like this one stay away the third party that the second company hired, which I was never told about as well finally delivered my stuff nine days later and wanted 1386$ more🤬🤬🤬

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE DECEPTIVE AND FRAUDULENT.

We decided to work with Southeast Professional Movers to transport our home belongings under false and misleading pretenses. Had we known that this company was fraudulent and lies to their customers, by providing false information to appeal to customers in order to secure their business, we would have NEVER worked with this company.
We spoke to a sales associate by the name of David, who told us everything we wanted to hear to secure our business. We had contacted numerous moving companies/ brokers, to compare services and prices, as you have to be VERY careful when working with interstate movers, since they always try to tack on extra mysterious fees and also are not straightforward with transport timing. We were blatantly lied to about almost every part of our agreement with Southeast Professional Movers, LLC.
David, told me and my partner numerous times, that the transport of our belongings would be NO more than 7 days time from pickup to drop off. We even confirmed inventory 2 days prior to the pickup with a customer service agent and all items were listed but when the movers showed up on the day of the move, there were missing inventory items and they were trying tack on additional charges.
The real issue came to light when Jackson Movers (the company who actually came to load our stuff) told us the transport could take up to 21 days and they could not confirm delivery in 7 days, which was the entire reason we did business with Southeast Professional Movers. Our stuff was held hostage for 19 days and then sold to another moving company for delivery since Jackson Movers could not deliver. Southeast Professional Movers has deceptive business practices and I would never recommend working with them. Their support rep, Laura, was so unhelpful and never once offered any solution. We requested a refund for paying them OVER $700 and she would not help with any compensation and refused to let me speak with a manager.

This is a broker and not an actual moving company
Everything they said to me was a lie

Overcharged me and keeping my stuff for almost a month now , i still didn’t get my belongings . Stay away and call someone else , like Oz moving . I wish I contacted them or someone else but I was dumb enough and fell for their promises to have my stuff in 1 week

Gorgeous delivery of my furnishings…

Gorgeous delivery of my furnishings from storage; they were there for around seven months. The staff was reliable and efficient, showing up on time or even early. My kid had to make a return visit for a few things and said that everyone he interacted with was just as kind and helpful as before. South East Moving Group has my full and undying backing.
