UPDATE: 2025

I have to update my review of this company. I rated it highly two years ago and raved about its pies, based on many positive experiences. This year has not been positive. The last order (July 2025) will be our last order period. The fruit pies barely had any fruit in them; I noticed they were cutting back on fruit last year. This time I received pies with mostly cornstarch filler and crust; no flavor. The Georgia Peach pie is the first pie I have ever thrown in the compost pile in my life. But the biggest disappointment was the Southwest Taco pie which we have enjoyed so many times, mostly in the winter. The latest taco pie was pot roast, no tomatoes, 5 kernels of corn and about 5 black beans. Not sure what is going on, but I am done with this company. Oh, I did notify the company first, but did not receive a response.

They don't fix their mistakes

Ordered 6 quiches as a Christmas gift for my in-laws. Only 5 quiches arrived. I notified the vendor and received a gift certificate for the missing quiche. However, when I went to use the gift certificate for the missing pie, I would've had to pay almost $40 in shipping fees to receive the quiche that they left off of my order. I called the company to ask if they could waive the shipping fee and they refused, stating that they had to mail the original order in 2 boxes but had only charged me for one box (this was never indicated at original checkout and makes absolutely no sense) So, if I want to receive the $44 quiche that Southern Baked Pie left off of my order -THEIR FAULT - I would have to pay an additional $40. Needless to say, I DO NOT recommend this company and their shady business practices. They made a mistake, but I'm supposed to pay an additional $40 for them to do the right thing? DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!
