Pricey products, high shipping costs and terrible customer service from Dustan
Had been a customer of The Spa Depot for a number of years until now. I had bought their Insparation brand spa fragrances for hot tubs, which are unfortunately, very, very expensive right now!. I like their Heavenly Honeysuckle and Eucalyptus scents, but will not buy them anymore, because of how expensive they are. All of the other Insparation fragrances that I have tried for the last several years cannot even be smelled when poured in the hot tub water.
I also think that The Spa Depot charges too much for shipping, but their delivery time is fairly quick.
Recently, in emails and chat messages, from Dustan, the apparent owner, I did not appreciate his lame excuse for not offering a senior discount. He made some misleading remarks as excuses, claiming only very prosperous, large companies offered them. He was extremely rude overall. I had to get tough with him towards the end of our many emails exchanged. I thought he acted like an 8th grader.
Because of the very rude language of Dustan, I decided to boycott The Spa Depot. But when I went to delete my account in their system, I was unable. I wasn't even allowed to remove my credit card information in their system, which was totally unheard of. I went on their chat and sure enough, Dustan was the chat agent on there. He said he deleted my account, but when I logged back in there, my information was still in there. He claimed that it takes 10 days for him to remove my information, which is totally outrageous!!!
I absolutely don't recommend Spa Depot to others, because Dustan will likely give you the most shabby service anywhere, plus their prices are outrageous!!
I wish I could give this company a -10 star rating, because a 1 star is even too good for them!!
