Homeschool Spanish Academy Reviews

Gema was great at engaging the students and making the experience fun.

As a neuropsychologist with specialized training in pediatric development and learning, I am highly selective about the educational programs I choose for my child. After careful consideration, we decided on Homeschool Spanish Academy, and the results have exceeded even my professional expectations.

Our teacher, Nohemi Esquit, has been exceptional. She is kind, patient, and attuned to the emotional needs of young learners. Her ability to alleviate apprehension and create a natural, low‑pressure learning environment has been instrumental in my child’s rapid progress. She brings warmth and clarity to each lesson, making Spanish feel accessible and enjoyable from the very first session.

What has impressed me most is the speed at which my child has begun to use Spanish spontaneously in daily conversation. After only a few classes, he is already demonstrating meaningful mastery — a level of early acquisition that speaks both to the quality of instruction and the developmental appropriateness of the teaching approach.

From both a parent and a clinician’s perspective, I can confidently say that this program provides an effective, supportive, and developmentally aligned pathway for children to learn Spanish. I am deeply pleased with our experience and grateful for the teacher’s thoughtful guidance.

Great one on one learning experience.

We’ve been doing classes for the last few weeks and have really enjoyed it! We tried Marilin Mendez for our first class and she was so great, we’ve tried to schedule with her exclusively. She does a great job meeting my kids where they are at with their learning.

My kids learn a lot through this format. Homeschool Spanish Academy is very professional and consistently delivers a good experience.

We’ve had such a great experience with Spanish Homeschool Academy! My daughter is really enjoying her classes and actually looks forward to them each week. Jaquelin and Wilma have both been wonderful, patient, encouraging, and so easy to learn from. I’m really happy we found this program and would definitely recommend it to other homeschool families!

Very patient and makes it fun. Perfect for my ADHD child

The classes are great and flexible which works great with our family's schedule. My son enjoys the classes and always looks forward to learn more spanish.

Migdalia was very helpful and introduced new vocabulary in conversation before going on to the next grammar lesson.

Kiara Villatoro and Melvin Hernandez are amazing teachers. My kids have had them for years. While my kids don’t exactly love Spanish (yet!), they love their experience with their teachers and that makes ALL the difference. I also appreciate that HSA has a curriculum that’s progressive from kindergarten through high school. I’ve been an HSA client for about 10 years and really appreciate that continuity!

Mrs. Gema made class fun and she was really funny and sweet. I enjoyed my spanish class today. It felt easier to learn with a little fun!

My daughter Luna has been making great strides in Spanish thanks to her teacher Mafer Diaz. She has really got her to open up and engage. I would recommend Homeschool Spanish Academy to everyone who wants to learn Spanish.

My daughter is really enjoying Homeschool Spanish Academy. The one-on-one conversations are such a confidence booster. And Isaias has been great. He is very patient and really enjoys teaching. Thank you.

Awesome program. Rosy, Eddeth and Jorge have been amazing with my three kids!

My son is really enjoying his Spanish lessons and loves his two teachers Anita and Gabriela! I appreciate the communication with his teachers and how easy it is to schedule classes.

My son has been doing classes for almost a month. He loves them and we are excited to continue with HSA. The schedule is easy to work with.

Rosy Xicay classes have been great, very engaging, patient and encouraging for my son to speak more Spanish.

The teacher, Rosy Xicay, was friendly, helpful, and energetic. This really helped my child to stay engaged and made learning the language a wonderful experience.

One on one can't be beat. It's wonderful to know that my student will be engaged in learning the entire time from a native speaker. Gerber is dependable, reliable and giving good feedback.

My experience with Homeschool Spanish Academy was outstanding . My teacher Jaquelin Juarez is such a funny person and teaches even the hardest lessons super simply so I can understand them better!
