Homeschool Spanish Academy Reviews 

Our children were in Spanish Immersion preschool, but now their public elemetnary school is all in English. It has been great to continue to maintain their spanish skills and exposure with Homeschool Spanish Academy and Eugenia A. in particular is a great fit for our early elementary school children who brings great energy and keeps our little ones engaged.

Sra. Ortiz is an amazing Spanish teacher! My 9th grader has learned so much from her. He began her class with no Spanish background and now he is able to have a conversation in Spanish. She is kind and funny and my son always enjoys her class.

Monica is fantastic with my daughter. She is kind of resistant to learn Spanish at times. She enjoys it at others. But Monica is patient and works excellent with her.

I homeschool my niece and she has just finished her first year with Homeschool Spanish Academy. her instructor, Jaquelin Juarez, is fabulous. She always ensures that my niece understand the concepts taught, and encourages her to converse in Spanish as much as possible. My niece loves her teacher and loves learning Spanish with HSA!!

In an short few weeks my boys began using Spanish in their daily lives. Its so encouraging to know being fluent is possible. Rosario is a gem of a teacher. She is so patient, kind and encouraging. From the first min to the last she keeps my boys engaged. They are not at all interested in learning Spanish as most young children they would rather be playing games but Rosario makes it and enjoyable 30 min. Thank you for HSA for helping me bring Spanish into our home!

Melissa has been such an encouraging and influential teacher for Valentina. She now seems to really enjoy learning Spanish!

My daughter loves this Spanish program. She’s learning so much and she loves her teacher Fatima Fuentes. I highly recommend the program to any parents who want there kids to learn Spanish. You won’t be disappointed.

My daughters started Homeschool Spanish Academy couple of years ago. They started out as beginners. They had been learning the language in school but it was just basics. When we found Homeschool Spanish Academy we decided to give it a try. In the beginning they were a little shy because they did not know what to expect. They were afraid what if they will not understand the teachers or if they don’t say the words correctly. Eventually they started to understand more and more and found themselves making conversations with the teachers. They became more confident and after all these years their Spanish has greatly improved. Also every teacher they have had has been a pleasure but I would like to recognize two special teachers who have went above and beyond throughout these years. Their names are Eugenia Argueta and Chris Morales. They are truly amazing, can’t say thank you enough for all the work they have done helping my children strive. They always start their classes with conversations which helps to improve my daughters conversation skills. They make the classes fun and engaging and comfortable. It’s wonderful to see my daughters happy and excited before and after every classes. They always have a great time even when it’s time to take a quiz or a test 🙂

My 12 year old son started his lessons about 2 years ago at Homeschool Spanish Academy while we were temporarily living in Guatemala. We tried a few different teachers at the beginning. They were all very nice and the classes were enjoyable. However he felt the most comfortable with Lesvia. I often hear laughter during classes. The relaxed atmosphere has helped my son overcome his fear of speaking in Spanish. He now corrects us while we try to communicate with the locals in Panama. We love Homeschool Spanish Academy and highly recommend Lesvia!

My kids have found teachers they really connect with and from whom they are learning so much. The teachers are engaging and the kids look forward to their lessons. The teachers are great at pinpointing where my kids need more review so they are well-prepared for quizzes and tests. Their favorite teachers are Jairo and Eugenia, as they have a long-standing teacher-student relationship with those teachers. However, they also enjoy classes with Isaias, Gerber, and Wuendy. It is great to have the flexibility of scheduling with multiple teachers to accommodate our busy homeschool schedule.

We have been using HSA for over two years and love it! The personalized time each child gets is so beneficial. We especially love Mrs. Eddith Giron’s classes and her fun, loving teaching! I definitely recommend HSA and plan to have all my children take classes as they become old enough.

We have had a WONDERFUL experience with homeschool Spanish academy and Wyatt’s teacher Naomi has been just awesome! She is super helpful and kind, laid back and is a great teacher. He really has enjoyed it and learned a lot!

We have been using Homeschool Spanish Academy for a number of years, now, for my daughter to learn Spanish. It’s the best set up, such a concentrated learning time, so efficient and flexible, and the teachers are so kind. We use the teacher available (no preference) and have loved every single one! I have told so many people about HSA because we love it so much. I am very grateful for their services.

We love Homeschool Spanish Academy! Both of my children have Rosemary Campos and she is absolutely amazing and patient. They have been working with her for over nine months and they have learned so much. She also communicates with the parents regarding the students progress and challenges. I am so glad that we decided to use Homeschool Spanish Academy and to continue using this program for years to come! Again, we love our teacher Rosemary Campos! She is amazing and gets so excited when the kids are learning! She is so encouraging! In her famous words “Muy Trabajo!”

Our favorite part of the class is Daniela Gonzalez. She is engaging and genuine, and my kids enjoy spending that 25 minute class with her. Something I think could be improved is the ability to customize the class more. I get the feeling lessons are pre-written (for good reasons), and I understand that it is an academy—so assessments are a part of things. I believe a focus on reading and writing in Spanish es muy bueno. They will use those skills. But right now, I would prefer that they gained confidence in basic conversation. Lots of speaking. That is what we’re working on at home. We will dive into reading and writing the language later. I would love more repetition with them speaking and copying after Daniela. Less formal assessments (ones where answers are withheld from them and they need to answer a heap of questions alone).
We love the convenience and flexibility of the Spanish Academy. The classes are the perfect length and the reminders are super helpful. The platform has also run very smoothly and has been easy for my kids to engage with.

Sofi Chiquito is amazing at making it fun and interesting, but also teaching the kids at the same time. We appreciate her so much! I wish we could meet her someday!

Our online Spanish teacher Carol is amazing! She makes learning fun and engaging for my 9-year-old, and I’ve seen such great progress. My child actually looks forward to every lesson! Highly recommend.

We have been using HSA for this year for our two homeschooled children (Grades 3 and 6), and it has been nothing short of outstanding! What a huge difference it has been to learn Spanish from native speakers who teach through a well-organized and designed program! They learned more in 1 month of this online program than in 1 year of Spanish in school. The teachers have all been top notch, patient, understanding, encouraging and fun. We have particularly enjoyed having Isaias and Helen as teachers for our kids, but they have all been great!

We have two teenaged boys taking lessons at the high school level, the older one for the last three years primarily with Eugenia Argueta and the younger just since last fall primarily with Damaris Guamuch, and both boys are making leaps and bounds in their ability to speak and understand Spanish. Dad, who doesn't speak Spanish, is starting to feel left out since the boys and Mom are chattering away in the language constantly... Both boys actively enjoy their lessons, especially with their primarily teachers but if we have to reschedule (which is super easy to do with as little as 24hrs notice) to a time that their primary teachers aren't available we can generally find a lesson slot with another random teacher - which are usually just fine, even if they don't have the ongoing relationship that their primarily teachers do. Overall very satisfied.

We like Eli Giron very much. She is a good fit for us. We like her personality.
