Absolutely great stuff
Absolutely great stuff! Had the parts I was looking for and for a reasonable price. The dumpster dive was amazing this year, definitely a great value this go round! Products were packaged well and arrived without damage. Impressive given it was shipped during the snowpocalypse and all of the delays associated with it.
Easy ordering and fast delivery.
Consistently Great
Consistently great supplier of quality electronics, but the real value of Spark Fun is in their documentations and examples.
Excellent assortment of goods
Excellent assortment of goods, very good quality, and quick response.
Hasty Rpi
Everything was hasty, responses, delivery, and i received exactly what i bought. Thank you Sparkfun team, seems more and more difficult to find a properly run business. Oh, and the 500+ is mind blowing!!!!
A no-problem purchase
The item I purchased was clearly described, and that is what I received. It arrived in a very reasonable time (I chose ground shipping). It was packed well and suffered no damage. I had no reason to contact Spark Fun's Customer service, so I have no idea how they'd fare on that score.
Pro Micro ESP32-C3 dead followed by no help
Posted this on Sparkfun Community 11 days ago:
Bought my first ESP32-C3. Got the Arduino IDE set up and ran the Arduino Example Blink code. Did it with two different laptops and all worked fine, even multiple uploads. Then, suddenly when pushing the RST button all COM stopped and nothing brings it back. Now no COM port is detected by Device Manager, or CoolTerm, with multiple USB cables and on both laptops. Only the red LED comes on, and loaded Blink blue LED does not blink. I’ve carefully gone through all your troubleshooting suggestions. All solder joints look good under 7X hand lens.
Any suggestions?
As of 11 days out, I have had 15 views but no suggestions. Admittedly, I should have returned this within the 30 day limit, but at least a tiny hint or two by Sparkfun staff would have been minimally respectful of the customer reelationship. I'll likely now buy a fresh ESP32 unit from your competitor, sorry to say.

Got my goods on time and intact!
great service
product came as ordered and multi boot was successful. thanks spark-fun for selling this product, it came quickly and as ordered and multi boot was successful.
One included board (the Elements IO board) defective.
Main FPGA board works OK, but one sub board (the Elements IO board) is faulty - 15 of the 32 LEDs in the four 7-segment + DP display modules are defective and do NOT light up at all. And one of the push buttons does not work either. This is unacceptable, and I want a replacement Elements IO (V1) board (Spark Fun SKU: DEV-17278).
A great surprize gift box.
I got one of the dumpster boxes and was extremely happy with it. I had only 2 issues with it. And both were very small. My box came with a DVM, a good thing normally. But I already have 4 DVMs. So I will just give it away. A problem of excess!
The second is I was only able to purchase one. I treat these as fun gifts. I wish I could purchase at least one more. WilI do it again? Of course I will it is fun.
Very succinct dumpster dive
Very succinct dumpster dive! This was probably my fifth or sixth dumpster dive from SparkFun, but this was one of the best in terms of content vs cost. Some in the past have been a bit on the lame side. This one not only had good content, but the items were somewhat interrelated and usable together. Not sure if they intentionally coordinated the content or if it just worked out that way, but everything I received was quite useful and went together almost like a kit.

The purchase was a box of misc random items. What I received was a outdated beginners partial Arduino kit. Not interesting or random
It's nice to still be able to trust a retailer
