Extremely low quality leads. All you really get is a list (with very few contact details, if any) of people that have looked at your products on their website.

We put in the effort to make a strong profile and to work the leads but it's a totally oversold proposition. Definitely the worst lead generation choice we've ever made

I am a director of a small company, that after months of telemarketing calls from Specifiedby eventually gave in to try their services for a year from late November 2022.

Over the years I have tried several different online marketing subscription services/companies, unfortunately most without particular success, as turned out to be the case with SpecifiedBy. This was not necessarily their fault, but potentially also down to me, not being able to put the required amount of work hours into optimising and using all facilities available. So even though the leads I did get were of no use, I still regarded it as being worth the try.

In August, I received an invoice for another year of subscription, with the payment due early November (and without any mentioning of terms)
A month ago, I had a call from SpecifiedBy/Causeway where I was asked if I had received the invoice for the renewal (the first and only phone call I have had from the company since my subscription began). I told I had and that I was planning to cancel before the invoice was due, some weeks before the renewal date.
To my surprise I was told that when I signed late last November (online on a web site, and to a certain degree under duress from the salesperson, but also in an honest hope of starting a new good business relationship) it had stated that there was a 3-month cancellation clause, and that I am now bound to a contract for another year.

I am aware that I am responsible for reading the contract, and that I had missed this important bit of information, but that said this clause was a first for me. It is illegal to impose a clause like this on consumers, but regardless of legality, is it fair to impose it on (small) businesses? -Is there any justification for not mentioning it at time of renewal, or (as it would have been seen in consumer law) is the clause simply a way of tricking people into paying more?
After numerous emails I have now paid a settlement fee to save time and potential legal fees, but personally, I believe it is bordering a scam however legal it may be, so be aware if you agree!

Specifiedby have been very helpful in assisting uploading datasheets, new articles and blogs.

Great platform that provides an alternative to other specification planforms. This platform is very user friendly- product specs are easy to find. I personally like the chat, users can leave a review on manufacturer's profile, users can also compare products. My only downside is that you can't custom the time period in the analytics. You can only chose the last 7days, 30 days or the last 6 months if I don't make a mistake. I wish I could choose a actual date...Other than that, I would 100% recommend this platform!

We have been with specifiedby for sometime but not used it to its full. Training was carried out by Probal who explained how we can make the most from our subscription, his training was very clear and easy to follow.
Looking forward to seeing the results of the actions we have since implemented.
