Heidi and Team are the ultimate pros. With such pedigree backgrounds, its what you would expect, but its the personal touches and people that you interact with in a business, especially a very personal process like this, that really make the difference and stands out. I used the online structure initially, which was brilliant in itself, but then to be able to work with Heidi directly, discuss the meaning and emotion behind the words, was such a unique and personal service. I recently drafted a father of the bride speech for my daughter’s upcoming wedding.
I was reasonably happy with it but wasn’t sure whether it needed a few tweaks.

I forwarded the draft to speechy and asked if i would benefit from their editing service.

I got a complementary response the same day stating it was a solid speech and I didn’t need their services which I thought was both honest and reassuring.

However Heidi was still good enough to highlight some areas for improvement and provide a couple of pointers which have made a great addition to the final draft.

Based on the tips she provided I expect that the speeches they provide will be of a high standard and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services.

I asked Speechy for help writing my Father of the Bride speech. I had done a first draft but, whilst I was happy with the overall content, I felt it didn’t hang together well and risked being a little dull.

Speechy took my draft, asked me a number of supplementary questions, then provided me with their first redraft within a few days.

It was amazing. Such a significant improvement, little themes that stylishly joined together different parts of the speech, punchy and appropriately quite emotional. A couple of minor edits later and it was ready to go.

When I first practised it, it was tricky as I couldn’t do the emotional bits without crying (!), but practice practice practice and it was achievable.

A few months later, and plenty of practice later, it was time to deliver. I stood up with the confidence that I had a great speech to deliver. The reaction was incredible. Not a dry eye in the house, plenty of laughter, and a total delighted married couple, family and friends. So much so that several people (who I hadn’t met before) came up to me afterwards and said that it was the best father of the bride speech they’d ever heard.

Simply Amazing! I had a phenomenal experience working with Heidi from Speechy. She was incredibly responsive from the time I inquired about her services until receiving the final draft. I first came across Speechy courtesy of Heidi’s book about speechwriting for weddings. As a very nervous groom I was desperate to deliver a good speech, but after reading the book my fiancé was keen to join in. That was one of the best decisions we ever made on the big day! Having reached out Heidi for the speechwriting service we were promptly introduced to Ed, who after we delivered our quiz returned to us the most incredible speech, which really reduced our nerves, and I can promise you gave our audience more laughs! Heidi was fantastic, she provided honest, genuine feedback on my speech and didn't propose changes just for changes sake. She was incredibly efficient, responded quickly to all emails and I would definitely use this service again, although hoping I only get married once!

The company had a few technical issues when I started, but the customer service has been outstanding. I used the SpeechyAI, and the prompts gave some great avenues for what to include in the speech. Some bits needed to be altered to be more 'in my voice' but that's expected.
