I filled out a very detailed questionnaire and then the speechwriter phoned me to get more detail and input from me on the tone and content I wanted for a Father of the Bride speech. He then produced a pair of alternative first drafts within a few days and I then marked up the bits from each draft which I liked ( most of either version being excellent) and he quickly blended the best of both into a near complete second draft. I then marked up again putting a few things in my own words and he redrafted again and we had a final version. In a lovely double spaced, easily printed Word format. Whole process less than a week and all ready two weeks before the big day. So loads of time to read and read again to learn it. On the big day the crowd reaction was fantastic. Delivery is key too but it helps give you real confidence to know you have great content from an expert. 100 pc will do it again.

Excellent support for my best man speech - editing my draft to make the language sharper, the jokes funnier and adding helpful new content. Also great help with the structure and flow. The team are also so polite and friendly and respond very promptly. Thank you for your help.

The team were fantastic, Heidi and Stuart did a great job in turning my ideas and stories into a structured speech...one that went through many different versions which they help check and change, until I was happy with the final one.

Working with Heidi as my Best Man moment approached was a breath of reassuringly fresh air. Keeping it light-hearted and easy throughout she was able to accentuate my strengths in public speaking. Heidi’s advice was the tonic that actually provided me with remarkable confidence in the face of what became certain laughter!

Of course there was also a lot of practice, memory-work and standing in front of the mirror before the big day but I'd also worked with Tom...

Tom is a man who appears effortless in his innate ability to turn vaguely witty anecdotes into wondrous crowd pleasers: all this whilst still managing to maintain my voice throughout. The last part was integral to the whole process; they were my stories but it felt like Tom had allowed me to tell them the way I’d always wanted to.

The audience laughed and they cried and it felt fantastic.

What a pair of absolute legends.

The speech was spot-on. It hit the mark, and I've had some lovely comments. We had laughter and tears, and overall, a splendid reaction to a rather spiffing delivery of a rather magnificent speech.

I went for the Bespoke Speech Writing service, which had a sizeable cost to it, but I am so glad I did. I was sent a questionnaire that really helped me think about all the stories in my past. Then Tom worked his magic and took the best parts of those stories. The speech had a great balance of being concise, heartfelt, and funny. The feedback I got from the speech was superb. I would happily use Speechy again, it was well worth the money.

Incredible service. I was panicking having to put together a speech with lots going on in our private life. Working with the speechy team was effortless, and they drafted a great first edition. With a few tweaks here and there, I delivered a great speech. Everyone was laughing and crying in equal measures. It went down a storm. Its a really straight forward process and actually they structure your speech based on a simple questionnaire.
One main point is that its not their speech - its yours! This is because it is based totally around what you would like to say, but its the spin that Speechy puts on it, that is the magical bit... Ordinary words become a hilariously entertaining event.
It was a daunting thought to stand up in front of say 100 people, but because they all wanted to hear what I had to say, and everything in the speech was from inside me, it was actually so much easier than I had ever imagined.
I delivered my FotB speech very recently....
There were giggles, applauds, laughs, tears, cheers and standing ovation – all in that order!
It was enormously satisfying and all down to the Speechy Team input. I was only the messenger!

I was well used to preparing and presenting technical and business speeches and I thought as I sat down to write the speech for my daughter, someone I knew so well that it would be a doddle. It wasn't and with only a couple of weeks until the wedding I was starting to panic, I'm so glad that I contacted the guys at Speechy.

If you want to give a knock-out Best Man's speech, preparation and practice are everything. Get help and use Speechy.

I engaged Tom and Heidi to help me with writing and delivering a Best Man's speech. Although I'm socially confident, I've hardly done any speeches or presentations. I tend to put too many ideas into things and I also procrastinate when it comes to difficult tasks. Left to my own devices I would have left it all to the last minute, been unprepared and nervous and ultimately let the groom down.

The writing process is thorough and was in my case highly collaborative. Tom helped me craft a speech which was delivered in my tone of voice and with my sense of humour, but which had a structure and pace which I would never have considered e.g. linking recurring themes. He was very open to my many, many edits but had the experience to put his foot down and say what elements should be taken out.

Once we were happy with the speech, Heidi then took over for delivery coaching. This was really thorough and highly practical. She has a brilliantly encouraging approach to the task, which instils the necessary self-belief to pull off a great speech. We were able to do it over Zoom and honestly that is every bit as helpful as doing it in person.

When the day came around, I was a bit nervous, but using some of Heidi's tips on preparation was genuinely raring to go when my time came around.

All I can say is that I was able to deliver - and then some. Every joke landed and the slightly risky audience participation elements went down a storm. The groom loved it and nobody was offended. I could not have asked for a better outcome.

Best of all, at a wedding of about 95 guests, of which I'd met maybe 5 previously including the groom, I must have had over 30 people approach me at various points in the night to congratulate me on an excellent job, including the Bride's godfather, a vicar: This is no mean feat considering I'd included a line about how the church blessing was essentially unnecessary as they were already legally married...

Honestly, Speechy's help has made me a hero this weekend.

Ultimately, you will still have to do the work and the preparation is down to you, but I promise you; you stand a far, far greater chance of pulling it off Speechy's help.

I wrote my own speech a couple of months ago, but the more I practiced it I realised it was too abrupt.
Heidi was very clever at identifying what problems needed to be addressed, and Andrew thoughtfully produced the speech that I consider to be perfect for me; I highly recommend their combined service, and now confidently look forward to delivering the speech.

I'm still grinning away about how well the whole weekend went and especially my speech. I'm incredibly grateful to Speechy for all of their help. Heidi and her team of professional writers are amazing to work with. I am personally not a great writer and it was important for me to have a memorable and well-writen speech for my wedding day so I went to the pros, Heidi & the rest of the Speechy team!
