Unique UPC but owner is someone else on GS1
While the UPC is unique , it has its owner another company on GS1 as I checked, which may create complications, spec Amazon. Although certificate issued to me states a contract with that company that my company can use that, yet once someone check from GS1, he will not find clue of that.

To answer your question, there is no hidden information within the barcode number itself. You will need to add your product details and barcode number to the scanner app or software you are using. This ensures your product information is included in that database.
You will need to repeat this process for every platform or system where you want your product to be recognized.
