There work & communication was fantastic throughout couldn't be happier

Had my conservatory roof replaced earlier this month and I am absolutely delighted. Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional and I was kept up to date with everything throughout. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, the team did a great job and no mess! Thanks guys

What an awful experience this was. I got a complete new roof. Start date was delayed (first two days was stormy so totally understandable). So they started 9 days late. They never worked more than a 4 hour shift. On more than one occasion they were at the property less than 3 hours and still took an hour for lunch. I had three promised finish dates that never happened. They spoke down to me and spoke over me. Nothing was explained. Thenproject manager had no idea when the roofers were on site (or not). It seemed like the left hand had nonidea what the rigjt hand were doing. They did do the internal plaster work as a form of compensation (but you would think that as they caused the damage that should be covered anyway) the plasterer, joiner and the guy who came to fix the gutter 4 times were great. Took just over 6 weeks from start to finish. Still waiting on my velux opener i was promised and had to phone up for my guarantee papers. Thank god getting a new roof is a once in a lifetime thing. Would rather move house than go through all the stress again. Definitely would not recommend.

The job started months after it should have, took weeks longer than it should have, and the service we have received has been shocking. 4 and a half weeks after the job finally started we were told that they still could not give us any indication of when someone would come back to finish it. By that point all that was required was the replacement of a very small porch roof. We were clearly being fobbed off and had to chase things up almost daily as no one would turn up when we were told they would. The excuses we were given were often contradictory, or simply did not make sense. The final straw was when the excuse we were given was that replacing the porch roof was too big a job for this particular roofing company. Save yourself a lot of stress and go elsewhere.

Just had my roof replaced by Speedy Roofing. From the delivery of tiles and accesories and also the skip and scaffolding, all delivered in the same hour to the roofers, under extreme weather conditions efficiently installing my exceptional new ridged tile roof, I could not be happier. In fact I have now developed a stiff kneck continually looking up at my roof. My wife feels she is living in a new house and with climate change its the best move we have made. If you need a new roof dont hesitate to use Speedy Roofing. You wont be disappointed and be sure to look after great roofers.

Our old roof on a 3-storey town house needed completely reinstalling after 50 years of exposure to the Scottish climate.
Murray was our first contact with Speedy Roofing and responded to our initial enquiry very quickly with a visit to the property. He gave us good clear advice and produced a very competitive quote.
Unfortunately the start date was postponed due to work load and shortage of materials. However Project Manager Grant kept us informed and we fully accept that the snags were out of his control.
Happily the project was completed to our great satisfaction. We were particularly impressed with the workmanship and quality of materials. It's also worth mentioning that the the somewhat quirky design of the original roof presented some unique challenges, but Grant and his expert team dealt with them in a very professional way and again, kept us informed at every stage. It was also pleasing that, despite the extra challenges presented by original design, the final invoice matched the original quote - no hidden extra charges - which is a credit to Speedy Roofing's honesty and integrity. The finished project looks great, has already been weather tested and, I'm sure, will outlast me!

Exceptional service from start to finish. Main house re-roofed in four days straight; roofers were polite, tidy and swept driveway clear of debris daily. The re-felting of the extension was a complicated one where drainage had previously been a concern; the roofer attending on the first day identified a solution to the problem moving internal pipes out through the extension roof and onto the guttering. Took a bit more time but the crew worked long days to get it done and job completed to really high standard within three days. Couldn’t be more grateful! Highly recommend this company.

Terrific from start to finish with great customer service throughout I personally can't fault Speedy Roofing and all the staff involved.
The work was carried out as scheduled and with a great finish both inside and out.
All those on site worked very hard and I was impressed by their professional attitude.
Competitively priced given the standard of work, I am more than happy with all aspects.

This is not something that I like to do but this company are very inefficient. I tried to organise a date to do my roof after getting the quote. Impossible due to poor communication from them. I was always having to chase them up and they always had excuse after excuse. I eventually gave up with them as it didn’t paint a good picture of their company, not so Speedy Roofing.

We got Speedy Roofing to replace our conservatory roof. From start to finish their service was excellent. They kept us up to date daily with what was being done. They cleared everything away when they finished. They did a great job!! We are very pleased with our new roof and would definitely recommend Speedy Roofing.

I don’t usually write negative reviews about a company but I have found the communication and customer service of this company really bad. I had the same experience with them last year in between giving them the go ahead and the start date, no one ever contacted me I always had to call them. Unfortunately after finally getting my new roof it was damaged during the recent storm and dealing with them this time is just the same as the last time no communication. I’m now a month down the line and have no date for anyone to have a look I have already called twice but they are not interested. The advert on STV talks about piece of mind
I wish I had some, all the old roofs round about me all withstood the storm and my new one was damaged I think this also speaks for itself about the quality of the roof it’s clearly not built to withstand very harsh weather conditions.

Just to update my post from last week. The same day I posted this review Speedy Roofing called me and said that they would send someone out to look over my roof and check it. They sent a guy a couple of days later who took a video of my gutters and fascia’s and they sent it to me, no pictures of the roof at all. I was told that someone spent 1-2 hours here and checked the roof. As it turns out after checking CCTV from myself and my neighbours he was here for 15 minutes and didn’t even go on the roof, honestly these guys think we are all stupid.

A breakdown in communication at first but 'Speedy Roofing' sorted it and within the week had carried out a great job on our roof. Would highly recommend 👌
