As a member of the Lansdowne Residents…

As a member of the Lansdowne Residents Committee, I have always found SPEIRS GUMLEY staff to be extremely efficient and helpful in dealing with any queries/enquiries. Susie Robertson who is the Property Manager responsible for our Estate is always available to advise and assist us with problems that may arise in a timely and helpful manner.

Exceptional customer service

I always have a great experience with Klaudia Komar my Property Manager. She is professional, efficient, and always answers emails timeously. Communication is clear and reliable, and any issues or questions dealt with quickly and smoothly. Klaudia makes the whole process stress-free whilst remaining approachable and friendly. I really appreciated her attention to detail and dedication to providing excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

Helpful and efficient

I got in touch recently about potholes near the entrance to the parking at the back of our flat. Susie was extremely prompt and helpful in her reply. She also followed up with extra information she received at the residents' meeting.
We have over 30 years experience of Speirs Gumley as factors and have always found them to be helpful and efficient.

Personally

Personally, I’ve always had a good service when I have reported repair issues. The only concerns I have relate to the area of the banking. It is in need of clearing dead bushes and tidying up, however little is ever done to put it right

Good Morning Mrs Bern,

Following discussions with you earlier this year, the Manager for your property asked the grounds maintenance contractor to inspect the area and provide feedback. The contractor subsequently attended and advised there was no immediate safety concern, however agreed parts of the area looked untidy due to overgrowth, storm debris, and dead vegetation.

A further inspection identified a dead standing tree which had blown over within the embankment area. A quotation was obtained and approved, and the contractor later attended to remove the fallen/dead tree and clear the associated debris from site.

The area itself is intentionally quite natural/wild in character and also provides privacy screening to neighbouring properties, so there is often a balance between tidiness, maintaining vegetation, and avoiding over-pruning. Owner feedback on this has historically been mixed, with some residents requesting heavier cutting back and others feeling works have been too excessive.

We hope this reassures you that inspections, contractor attendance, remedial tree works, and ongoing maintenance have all taken place and we will continue to monitor the area.

Problematic Plumbing Issue

Well it’s not often that I have been pleased with my factor but on this occasion the service that I received from Olivia has been outstanding 👍🤩 I reported a plumbing issue and she reacted immediately by both emailing me, phoning me and organising a plumber to call that day. The plumbers were also excellent, identifying and rectifying the problem. 🤩

Blocked Downpipe

I contacted the property manager to let them know the gutter cleaning company had missed some grass growing inside one of the downpipes. The very next day, the company returned and fixed the problem, so the response from Speirs Gumley was fantastic.

From start to finish I’ve found Speirs Gumley easy to deal with and super professional. Their communication around costs, charges and plans for the estate I live on are clear and detailed.

Not great service

Constantly having to chase to get an answer. Contacted them over 4 weeks to get some answers in relation to factoring bills. Still have not got to the bottom of it.

Outstanding service and support

It’s less the company and more about one of the property managers - Susie Robertson. A company is only as good as the people who work for it and having dealt with a few property managers over the years, Susie was a breath of fresh air. Her communication was excellent and her help to me was second to none. She is a great ambassador for the company.
