Well I need to update this. I had a call from Spicy Joes and they were horrified I hadn't received my spices. I now have confirmation of shipping and I have to say they really pulled out all the stops to help. Thanks to Nige and Spicy Joes and looking forward to some good cooking,

First time ordering from here, had been following some recipes and came across this site, was a little apprehensive but after speaking with Nigel I had no reason to be as he advised what spices to use and gave extra tips and advice, ordering and delivery was super easy and it arrived promptly.
I will 100% be ordering from here again and will be recommending to family and friends. The flavours on the food were amazing, some of the best spices I've cooked with.

Excellent spices & herbs with superior quality & flavour. Also the best Indian spice blends to make curries. This company is extremely busy so sometimes orders take a while to arrive! I’ve used this company for around 7 years & have never found the same quality at any other company.

Product itself amazing and makes the perfect Tikka coating. I will be back to order more

Placed my order for Al,s Bassar mix spice an arrived quickly along with some yellow mustard seeds.
Made a ruby last night and the spice mix was top notch.

Ordered the base gravy mix after stumbling upon Al's YouTube video. Arrived swiftly and couldn't resist making a Jalfrezi with the newly made base gravy and all I will say is it's the best Indian curry I've made in 20 years of trying.

Have just made my curry from the dhansak pack I received two days ago. Much much simpler than using individual spices. This method will also keep spices fresher as turnover will much improve. Lastly the dhansak was wonderful

I have been making Al's curries after coming across him on Facebook. I decided to give his spice blends a go and I was not disappointed! Who would have thought that 30 minute curries could be even simpler!
i would highly recommend the Chasni and i can't wait to try the rest!

Placed my first time order three weeks a go and was delivered by Nigel the owner today as I only live a few miles away.
He gave me a couple of extra items free of charge to apologise for the delay in my delivery (courier issue apparently)
Lovely products just the delay in delivery is the issue but hopefully all now sorted.

Some initial problems with my order not being sent out after a month and no response to emails. Had to leave a negative review on here. After which I received a lovely phone call from Nige apologising and explaining what had happened. IT issues! Just shows you what an old fashioned phone call can sort out. My fault I didn’t see their phone number on the invoice or would have called first before giving a bad review which I don’t like doing to a small business.

All sorted out and gone from a negative to very positive experience. Thanks again for resolving this and taking the time to explain the problem.

Superb service - quick delivery and the website was easy to use! High quality product. I bought Al’s Kitchen Spice Mix powder as I have been following Al on YouTube. Excellent!

I have used the bhaji and Karahi mix. Having made many curry's at home, using separate spices, I found these a step up. And makes life so simple. Instead of 6/7 separate spices going stale, these are fresh and used quickly so don’t go stale.

I'm very impressed with the spice packaging, especially the tub containers.
The Website was easy to navigate and to place my order.
Although the order took a while to process I understand that since Al's Kitchen, on YouTube, has been creating & promoting his 30-minute Staff Curries & promoting Spicy Joes too, orders have gone through the roof, so a little bit of patience is required, so pleased with my spices.
However, EVRI, the delivery company, in my view on this occasion is a NIL STAR * due to the length of time for them to deliver; they promised a Wednesday delivery, then a Thursday delivery only turned up today, Friday.

Great spices, great service, great choice.
Why would I buy my spices anywhere else.
Top of the class.
