Spire stepped in with less than a week's notice of our moving date when we were let down by another company. They pulled out all the stops to get our considerable amount of stuff packed in time and moved us smoothly on the day, despite a long wait for completion. Their staff were very polite, helpful and knowledgeable and packed our belongings with great care and attention. We were extremely impressed with the way the management dealt with an issue we had to raise after the move. We would highly recommend this company for any removals job.

From our first telephone enquiry to the pick-up of empty boxes a fortnight after we completed, every single person at Spire - office-based or on site with us - who was part of our house move was superb. Friendly, fun, efficient, reassuring, helpful, punctual, extremely hard-working, nothing broken nothing lost, nothing too much trouble and the end-to-end service seamless. We found everyone's attitude positively can-do and customer-focused, phone and email communication very easy (always a real person at the other end, no AI bots here!) and admin straightforward. We chose Spire partly because of their competitive pricing but mostly because we felt strongly that, in the event something went wrong, they would be supportive and able to find a solution. Really really impressed.

The team did a little job for me free of charge. Incredible service, great attitude. Would thoroughly recommend.

The removals team were fantastic helping us pack and move in January at short notice. We have 6 dogs and a baby, so needed a team who would take the pain out of the move, which they did. Extra team members were bought in on moving day to help us get in, in a timely fashion. We had 2 lights that were damaged (we had A LOT of breakables so this was very good going...) and they repaired/replaced both no fuss. We would like to shout out Chris, Annabelle, Sam, Craig, Mike, Bailey and Ross who really looked out for us and went the extra mile. Thanks team!

Spire Removals has once again proved their worth. Our move was well planned and executed to enable us to have a minimal amount of stress. The team on each day went above and beyond expectations. From Olly and Annabell, to Ash, Chris and Gino (there were a couple of others and I am sorry I can't remember their names) the whole team were amazing. I would genuinely never go anywhere else if there is a next time, you don't need to fix something that isn't broken! If you are approaching a move and have concerns, contact Spire they will not only put these at ease, but go above and beyond to ensure everything goes smoothly, they do put you first!

Spire removals made what should be the most stressful experience, a house move, almost a pleasure. All done in a day, extremely hard working, polite and careful. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

Moving house is one of the most stressful experiences in life but Spire-removals has just made our move as smoothly as possible. Billie and the office are helpful, efficient and communicative. The hard-working removal team led by Jason and assisted by Max are just amazing - they are professional, well-organised, punctual, thoughtful, kind, considerate, careful with good manners and a great sense of humour. Highly recommend them with no hesitation whatsoever.

Spire were able to ‘covid quote’ via a WhatsApp call. They could cope with complex/ restricted access, and moving large difficult items through this. They turned up on time and were very helpful and careful. They damaged an IKEA chest of drawers and immediately phoned me to admit this. They obtained, built and delivered a replacement very efficiently. I strongly recommend them.

I contacted Spire in July for a quote and was pleased with the price and the service they promised to provide. I paid my deposit in August to secure my removal. My moving date kept slipping right due to delays with the conveyancing process and I kept them updated all the time. I contacted them on Thu 24 Sep, the week before, to confirm that I was 99% confident that 1 Oct was going to be the date as we just had one bit of paperwork to be sent back from my vendors solicitor. I followed this up with a call on Mon 28 Sep, 3 days before, to confirm final details of arrival times and to make my final payment. Spire then told me they couldn’t do it as they were now fully booked. So with 3 days to go before my moving date they have let me down. I asked them for my deposit back. 2 days later I am still waiting for this to be returned which leaves me short to pay another company. I spent 5 hours on the phone on Monday trying to find another company who could do something at such short notice. This has added immeasurably to the stress of moving, and at huge additional cost. I am now paying £500 more than expected and still don’t have my deposit of £250 back from them.
