Been using Spond for a few years for various clubs. So pleased when Bath City Youth went over to them. All the clubs in one place! So easy to use and has a great set of very useful features!

Really love this app. We use it to run our netball club and it is brilliant. We have over 500 members and it’s been invaluable for managing the club, collecting fees and keeping ahead of the admin. We like that Spond listen to our feedback and action points to improve it - with some great additional features being added all the time. Our parents like the no nonsense approach to matches without the need for a million what’s app messages and the coaches find it a really useful tool.

A great app. It lets me build events and matches and invite members. It helps me keep track of members attendance and availability. I can post match reports, send out polls and message members all in an easy app.

SPOND is fantastic. It’s saved me about 15 hours of admin a week.
Helped me grow my club from a small group of 300 players to now over 4000 within 4 years.
The support team have also helped and taken on ideas for improvement often going above and beyond with what was required.

I’ve used a number of other management apps and none of them are as user friendly as Spond.

At Oxford Quins we have 170 adult playing members who participate in our 3 men’s rugby teams, 2 women’s teams and our over 35s teams. We also have about 400 youth members and 60 U18 Academy players. We also manage the rugby provision at Oxford Brookes University which comprises approximately 450 student players across 6 teams. In terms of overall playing numbers we are the largest rugby club in the region.

We trialled Spond initially for our U18 Academy about 7 years ago. It was an immediate success, solving all the problems around player availability and communication that we had been unable to fix up to that point. Consequently the exec here made the decision to roll out Spond to the entire club and then when the partnership with Oxford Brookes University formed, to their teams also.

Spond is without question the best sports management software we have found. It has had a profound impact here, and we simply could not function without it. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Spond is a brilliant platform that we use regularly for communication with players, parents, coaches and team managers. It is so easy to use and has all the functionality required for effective communication.

A great product, better than other systems I have tested and seen. No adverts, great development team, who understand sports clubs, and its problema. The system has great safeguarding capabilities, plus mutliple club and group functions all in an app solution.

I literally run a 300 player basketball club, plus after school club, holiday camp from my phone, whilst managing all of the player fees and league fees.

We grew from 0 to 300 players in 2 years with Spond, and saved so much time from Whatsapp groups, and chasing payments.

The Club solution allows me to preset payments, and the ongoing payments are now automatically taken.

Brilliant system for Coaches, Team managers, members and for central management. Dulwich Cricket Club converted to Spond App and Club solutions in 2023 and the systems have more than exceeded our expectations. I would also like add that where support is required the Spond team get back to us on a timely basis and they are always looking of ways to improve the system going forward.

We moved our entire club membership database to Spond Club in early 2023 because of the huge functionality benefits and ability to manage all club data, membetship fees, attendance management and monitoring and club-wide communications all in one place. WhatsApp groups are the scourge of sports administrators and parents time and Spond mostly negates the need for such communication distractions. Spond has honestly been a breath of fresh air to both move to at the Club Admin level and especially to operate at the Club Age Group level. There are so many features and benefits of Spond that are light years ahead of all other Club and Team database or App products available in the UK. The level of service we received from Spond during our set up and data migration phase was outstanding. Whenever we have questions or minor technical issues arise the Spond Helpdesk are very quick at responding and really understand our club nuances to provide appropriate solutions. The Spond Product Development team are also first class and are always receptive to feedback on how to improve their product and the user experience. If ALL sports organisations in the UK used Spond there would be so much precious time saved and so many more efficiencies for players, administrators and especially busy parents.

We have been using the Spond App for several seasons now at our Rugby Clubs Mini & Junior Section. We have also expanded to the Club Spond solution and included the whole club membership and committee sections. It has made communication so much easier now that we can message everyone or just a sub group of a team. Fixtures and availability is clearly laid out making it easy for team selection without the hassle of trawling back pages of WhatsApp messages that are interspersed with "little Billy has lost his gum shield/boots/waterbottle has anyone picked them up". Membership and subs is so much easier to track for the treasurer without having to reconcile the bank account all the time and individual team managers can have oversight on who needs to pay. We have even put our 120 team rugby festival on it so that registrations and payments are taken and fixtures and match scores are recorded live.

Great little app. We’ve been using it for over 2 years and it’s been brilliant for us organisationally . Keeps everything in one place and cuts down on mountains of WhatsApp/text messages. It’s also allowed us to raise a significant amount of money via the fundraising options and the children have been massive beneficiaries of this.

I use Spond as a committee member of a football club, a grassroots coach and as a parent of 2 active kids. It's by far the best app of its kind - also far better than WhatsApp and Facebook groups when it comes to comms, managing attendance and match/training details. The payment functionality has saved me hours per month chasing and checking bank accounts. Well done Spond!

What a fantastic app with great back end help from the Spond team we at Histon Hornets can not fault it !! For us this has taken all our pain away. We think this would benefit any club to have this

It is no more useful than FB WA or other free platforms as if there are data issues you rely on their interpretation. It is a tick box exercise for organizations to try to avoid uncontrolled private chat groups which Spond can do nothing to stop.
Bit like the emperors new clothes.
Navigation is not intuitive and the user experience pretty poor

To add that Spond was not compliant with Data protection regulations choosing to rely on EU data regulation and not UK regulations
