Poor Signage

Well, I prepaid for a parking spot and it was not marked anywhere. I even called for help and still couldn’t find where to park. No signage at all. I received numerous emails when I submitted my ticket and could not get any help. Finally I called and Johnathon is setting up a refund for the parking. However I will never use this service again.

Parking lot was full and I had nowhere…

Parking lot was full and I had nowhere to park. When I asked for a refund they wanted me to prove I park someplace else or no refund. Never use them again

Poor experience made right.

The initial experience was challenging. We were unable to access the parking due to closure and were directed to a different lot and charged there as well. I reached out to spot hero customer support and they apologized and refunded what I was charged on the app, plus gave me a credit of the difference to use on my next parking charge. Very highly satisfied with the level of customer service.

I had a big problem with road closures…

I had a big problem with road closures that prevented me from getting to my reservation. Spot hero quickly refunded my money without a big hassle. I will definitely use them again!!

You cannot reliably reserve parking and there is no guarantee there will be a parking spot on the day of

You cannot reliably reserve a parking spot at any location. Availability at that facility is not guaranteed and we showed up on the date of our flight and was told the parking garage was full and they turned us away. The parking facility then directed us to a different lot that is running a scam and charging customers an additional $50/night in cash. We ended up re-booking another garage at a much higher price through Spot Hero and requested a cancellation of the existing reservation since it was not honored by the parking facility. Instead of a refund to the original form of payment all you get is credit to be used on this unreliable app.

Quick Response and fix!

I was unable to reach my parking reservation due to a traffic issue and I called SpotHero and they quickly responded and found a new spot and credited my first one and provided me entry to the new one while also voicing driving directions to the new spot. They provided prompt service when I needed it most - driving thru downtown SF traffic!

Forced to make 2 reservations for the same car and denied a refund for the 2nd.

I got a new license plate because I had to apply for an accessible parking license plate and the app did not let me change my license plate number on a reservation even though it has a button to do that. The button just did not work. I had to make a second reservation in the moment to be able to park when I realized the license plate number was my old one and I could not change it in the app. So I made two reservations for the same car in same (empty) lot at the same time. I asked for a refund for the 2nd reservation and they told me to kick rocks. I’ve also had the experience of being turned away from parking even though I had a reservation and also once I had to fight for my life (was stuck inside the garage for like an hour with customer service people and security) to be able to LEAVE a garage because the attendant had no clue about SpotHero. I never blamed the company for those instances and those instances did not cost me money, just time and energy. This most recent incident cost me money and I had to deal with their customer service directly, who were totally unhelpful. The lot was empty! I feel like that is very important. It’s not like I took a potential spot from another paying customer. Customers shouldn’t have to pay extra money for absolutely nothing because your app is broken.

These people are crooks

These people are crooks. We purchased parking in advance when we arrived there was no open space and we're rudely sent away. The mayhem was bad as everyone showing up had purchased parking and there was none.
We could not find parking any else and lost the event and our tickets.
Unbelievable.
