The engineer arrived early in the 12 - 5 pm time slot given. He was quick and thorough in his work, friendly and polite.

Your engineer was very polite and professional

The technician was very courteous and helpful. We had a 6 month old baby in the house and he ensured that all the tests were carried out as quietly as possible and gave us prior warning when the alarm was going to ring loudly so that we could put our hands on the baby’s ears.

I was a very happy customer of Master Alarms for many years but when Spy Alarms took over I have noticed a number of changes such as -
Regular increases in the annual service charge.
Being invoiced for the service weeks before the appointment and then being followed up with another invoice afterwards depending on any work needed.
I ask for an engineer who knows the house and later received a call asking me to take another appointment with an unknown engineer!
Also asking for the engineer to call me 30 minutes before arrival to make sure I’m in and this not happening!

The engineer was booked to come between 8am and 1 pm. He didn't arrive until 1.40 pm. Spy alarms had not contacted me to say the engineer was running late. It was left to me to call them at 12.45pm when I was told the engineer would be with me in 6 minutes. When the engineer arrived he apologized for being late and said he had asked the office to let his customers know of the delay - which they had not done.

Engineer friendly enough.
Unsure why the old holes were not filled from old spy alarm fitting. The engineer when asked said he hadn’t seen large red raw plugs!!
Disappointed with unprofessional approach.
£96 charge call out to change 4 very old sensors, a section was left on top of a picture in my lounge. + £120 an hour

I was hassled several times to pay for maintenance service prior to the job being done. I have always paid after the service as a long standing customer, I didn’t appreciate this change in policy, I felt you doubted my trust or ability to pay. So hence the 2 star rating.

Engineer was polite, helpful and explained the issues, work carried out in a clean and tidy manner, all systems checked before leaving.

Oprrative clearly knows what he is doing. Efficient and competent. He kept me informed at all times what he was doing so I was able to be confident in his work and the condition of my CCTV system.
