Five separate requests for a "call back…

Five separate requests for a "call back in 30 minutes". No call back. Not a single one. How can you sell insurance if you promise a call back in 30 minutes, on three separate days, and give no call back? I still would like a call back to settle a new car insurance quote. I am reluctant to post my phone number here on this forum though.

HRT mandated request for accommodations

Daniel,
I will gladly delete subjective details about Square One Insurance, as the company is fundamentally strong.

I genuinely believe SQ1 has the potential to be exceptional.

I say this respectfully - I am almost shocked by the response you gave to my public plea for consideration.

If you reread my prior post, I was already experiencing a hard time with SQ1. Due to what could be viewed as a misunderstanding.

But, if the CEO inadvertently states that a solution to my medical accommodations request is invalid, or not plausible. What does this mean?

Would you be open to having a "pre" mediation meeting, before I spend money? Or, would you prefer to negotiate at the HRT mediation meeting?

I really do believe you may not fully comprehend how a simple "check mark" could eliminate a negative review, and could actually become a positive corporate image.

I've been waiting 4 months for a…

I've been waiting 4 months for a resolution on a claim. It is something that is covered, and at no point do I get phone calls or emails back. I just want this resolved. I'm going with a different company when my policy is up for renewal. But under no circumstances is this a company one should deal with.

By the way I did call you. Your voice mail said I would get a call back by the end of the day. I called first thing in the morning. No call back. Still waiting for the call back. Great way to try to win a customer over.

I have now been on hold for 37 minutes and still nobody is taking my call. All I am trying to do is finalize my application for a car policy and apparently there was an issue needing resolution first. Is anyone there?

I have had a home insurance policy with…

I have had a home insurance policy with SquareOne since 2019. I have never made a claim with them. I just called today to update them that I am refinancing my mortgage and I require a property insurance binder/certificate for my new lender.

They said that my policy now needed to be reviewed and that my policy will increase by over $2000 per year which is over a 100% increase as I currently pay almost $1,800 per annum.

I asked to speak to the employees manager as this is totally outrageous. She wasn't able to connect me to her manager as this isn't an option. She did say I should expect a call from her manager and unsurprisingly I have yet to hear from them.

I will be cancelling my policy with them as this is totally ludicrous and this is certainly a company, I never want to deal with again based on the customer service I have experienced. I've been with them for 5 years with no claims and this is how they treat loyal customers.

Dishonest and Deceiving Insurance

The reviews of this Insurance company deceived me into buying their policy. I wish there was negative star review. They are the most dishonest Insurance Company I have seen so far. They Issued me a 30 day car Insurance policy and charged me 2 months premium ahead pending checking Insurance my experience. They asked me to bring insurance experience from previous Insurance provider and I provided it with clean record. Now after I used their Insurance for couple of weeks, they Increased my Insurance premium by over 1000 dollars a year without consulting me. When I asked them to cancel because they didn't consult me they said they will charge me cancellation fee of 270 dollars. That is how they hold you hostage, they charge you 2 month premium upfront. Then give you one month premium, then they go and check your history after receiving your money. This is a complete scam for me. It is well crafted money grabbing strategy while they are always the winner and the customer is a loser. Look once you are in there is no way out. Either way they will take your money. They could have checked my history well before issuing the 30 day policy and they could have given me a one year premium quotation as requested and as what all Insurance companies do. I could have then decided whether to buy it or not. This is a complete scam in the highest level. Whatever history that they come up later, it doesn't matter. It is their job to check my history before taking my money. I have already filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau regarding this issue. I would never ever recommend anyone to go to this Insurance.

The online application was quick & easy.

The online application was quick and easy.
I first tried TD and Cooperators process online, but after wasting my time, their sites both said I need to have a phone call with a sales agent. I think its just a process they use to upsell people.
I then searched online and checked out Square One with the Better Business Bureau.
Mine was a fairly simple Tenants policy, something that I finally decided to stop procrastinating about getting!
As I watched an apartment fire across the road, and the unbelievable damage done to the attached units by water and smoke, I completed the application and payment arrangements.
I received my policy in my email before the fire trucks left!

Most terrible experience I've ever had…

Most terrible experience I've ever had with a company. Had to make a claim, and the person in charge of my case didn't listen to a word I said. Would ask me the same question over and over again even though I had given a CLEAR answer multiple times. I've always thought writing reviews was a waste of time until now.

Pathetic and unreasonable

I was following through with a quote and wanted to start my journey with square one home insurance.
Unfortunately my banking info was entered with an error and so no withdrawal was conducted even though I was not given an option of when my first withdrawal would be.
I was out of country immediately following and when I returned I called to clarify and rewrite the policy I had stated by was denied because i made an entry error on my banking and couldn't return the calls or email when I was abroad.
Unbelievable!! Poor rational and unreasonable underwriters

Square One not a real company

I had two minor water leaks and because the damage was around $1000 each, I decided to cover the repair cost myself. However, Square One decided that my house was "too risky" to insure and terminated my policy. Find yourself a real insurance company.

Completely Out Of Touch With Reality

I just wasted three days trying to apply for insurance with this company and dealing with
their ridiculous demands. First, they wanted aerial photos of the house so they could look at the
roof. Then they needed to know the exact size of every different part of the house and I had to
send them the home inspection report. Then they needed to refer it to someone else. They promised
followup calls and emails, none of which ever came. After I updated my quote and had them call me
again, they said they couldn't provide coverage because of three small blemishes to the exterior
siding. No house, even a new build, is perfect but clearly that's the only kind these guys are
interested in. Don't waste your time!

The most notorious display ads Ive ever encountered that I bothered to write a review. The frequency I see their ads all over websites and apps is at least 20 a day. Im a marketing specialist myself, there is a way to cap frequency. First google help article that comes up on the query “Frequency capping display google ads”.
