This Squire padlock is about 30 years old and still going strong. It has out lived three sheds !

There are no instructions. The lock does not work. The screw does not work. An older model, about 4 years ago just randomly stopped accepting the combination code. This is an awful product, do not buy

I have bought three padlocks over the years from Squires. The process has always been easy and the product excellent. However, on the most recent occasion I had reason to use the after- sales service; I had ordered a product that was not quite right for me. Squires took it back without question and provided an alternative lock at no extra charge. Thank you.

In early November, I decided to spend some money on a good-quality disk lock for my motorcycle. I searched lock reviews and forums and saw that the Squire Defiant was one of the sturdiest locks on the market.
On the 13th of November, I decided to order a lock.
It's December now, and I regret ordering it. Im on the hook for almost 200£ (with shipping) . It's still being processed. The FAQ says international shipping is processed in 3-5 business days, but it's been more than half a month.
I tried contacting the company using the contact email, YouTube, their social media, and Reddit, but they have been radio silent. Meanwhile, I bought another lock with much better customer service so, I tried asking for a refund but they have also been radio silent on that as well. I'm thinking that squirelocks is just a fake website to scam people out of money

I’ve experienced particularly bad service - the company did not seem to want to assist, and in the end they said they would refund my payment, which still hasn’t been done.

Absolutely gobsmacking brilliant customer service!
Returned broken lock which was replaced by return of post. Certainly live up to their 10year guarantee promise.

Received my Squire stronghold D16/230 D lock today from an on-line bike products retailer (not naming them just now until problem resolved) on opening the packaging I found the lock plastic outer casing was split down one side, very disappointing considering this is a very expensive bike lock costing well over £100
My advice to Squire is you really need to have a severe look at your quality control, this was not a minor fault and does not look good for your reputation as a major lock manufacturer, how this lock was passed is baffling, I shall be reviewing the company I bought it from in due course after I see how they deal with this purchase

Squire 39 padlock
Cylinder failed on 2 padlocks,received replacements from Squire but one of them has now failed,exactly the same fault as before,the other one is fine its still in the packaging.
Don't buy their rubbish unless you want to use a mini grinder a few times

Outstanding customer service, very good products. Padlock seized after 12 moths, replacement provided without any quibbles. They even refunded the cost of postage for returning the faulty lock. You just don't get customer service like this now.

Great lock easy to use. Good bright colour so not easy to forget, good visible deterrent. Reminder strap really helps when your minds on getting back on the road.
Bought direct from Squire. Need a bit more communication as to order ready and dispatch
Only email is to say they got the order. No update until DPD, who as usual were spot on with communication.
When spending £200 you like to know it’s on way.
Otherwise pretty faultless

A quality product with great reviews, although a little heavy, if it prevents the portable disc cutters then worth its weight

I had an issue with a Squire Dlock and was considering just telacing it, I then emailed Squire to see if it could be repaired, I had an email back from Anne Marie explaining if it was under 10 years old it would be covered under warranty and if I enclosed a receipt they would refund that also.
The lock was sent off and a few days later I didn't recieve my lock but a brand new one to the same sold secure gold standard so not a cheap replacement and also the cheque.
They did exactly what they said, a definite recommendation for this long established company

Easy selection process and fast delivery.

Very helpful but annoying problem with combination lock-setting number code terribly fiddley.
