Can't recommend Tom enough. From first point of contact he was professional, helpful, knowledgeable and thorough. He came highly recommended and didn't disappoint.

Tom was recommended by a trustworthy friend. From our initial 1st contact he inspired us by his helpful and informative approach. He encouraged us highlight any concerns about the property and paid particular attention to during the conduct of the survey. The survey identified some important issues which Tom explained to us in non-technical language so that we could understand the issues,potential remedies and financial impact. The 68 page report was detailed & comprehensive with photos & diagrams illustrating / evidencing the problems found & links to further sources of explanation and specialist contractors. In summary we can confidently & unreservedly recommend Tom as a highly skilled and knowledgeable expert surveyor who completely exceeded our expectations! Also important to say that we found his fees to be very reasonable and excellent value for money.

From start to finish Tom was amazing! The first initial call after enquiry was what made us choose him, giving advise on what to look for in properties we were viewing. After having our offer accepted we contacted Tom again to arrange the survey and it was all completed and the report back to us very quickly (no more than 2 weeks) Tom’s report was very detailed including pictures & diagrams and words that we understood instead of using jargon that wouldn’t make sence to us. Would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking for a surveyor. Thanks again

I wholeheartedly recommend Squire Surveyors. Tom conducted a thorough and fair assessment of our new home. We opted for a Level 2 Home Survey, which we found to be comprehensive and exactly what we needed. The report was clear and easy to understand, free from jargon and overly technical language. It also included photos and diagrams, which greatly enhanced its readability.

Tom was great, really liked that he called me when I made an online enquiry , this was the personal touch. The subsequent report was very detailed and simple to read. I made a follow up call to talk the report over which I really appreciated as it clarified my understanding.

Tom was a brilliant help through this process, always on hand if I had questions, and he walked me through the whole process. The turn around was very quick and the report received was very thorough. Definitely recommend.

Tom was the ultra professional from the get go. He was the only surveyor to call and discuss what the survey would entail, and how he would go about it, in stark contrast to cold email quotes from other companies. I liked the authenticity of that, so we were off to a good start.

The survey was arranged swiftly and I was kept informed of timelines throughout, without having to prod.

The report itself was received within 4 working days of the survey being completed - it was detailed, thorough, and included supporting photographs, general comments and recommendations. Although it contained a lot of information, it was documented clearly and set out well, making it easy for me to review.

After I had taken time to digest the report, Tom had a lengthy discussion with me which allowed me to pick his brain further on key areas of the report. This was invaluable, additional support I was not expecting (included within the overall fee).

I had a survey done by Tom on a property that I was in process of purchasing.

Tom at squire was recommended to me, so I gave him a call to receive a quote. During the call Tom was friendly, honest and researched the house to provide me with a quote he also gave me some great advice.

I called Tom on a Thursday for the initial quote and in less than 1 week he had completed a full level 3 survey and had the report back to me.

The report was very detailed, included photos and it was easy to understand. Tom also took the time to talk me through his findings answer any questions.

I could tell by talking Tom that he's very knowledgeable, passionate about his job and really wanted to help as much as he could. Tom was completely honest throughout the whole process. There were no hidden costs and professional from start to end.

Tom carried out a Level 3 building survey on a house that our son is in the process of buying. The survey was very detailed, but concise, unlike others I have had previously which were so long they were virtually impossible to understand.
Tom was happy to discuss the report in detail on the phone afterwards. Nothing was too much trouble for him to explain to me, which he did several times about some of the problems, to make sure I understood the implications of the issues that he had found. Tom has literally spent hours discussing this survey with me, as it is obviously very important to me that I can advise my son on what is the best course of action to take before he commits to buying this, his first property and has no large, unexpected expenses when he completes on the purchase.
