Got a front door from these guys, excellent quality, and great staff

The windows are very good and I was very happy with the installation. Regrettably the fitters were not so at cleaning up after they were finished. There was a fair bit of dust and particles left on my carpet, and where they had move my furniture and fittings to get the job done they did not return them to the place. I am a 72 yr old lady and I had to ask for assistance from my neighbours. My son lives some way away and he had to come over to put my blinds back up.

Absolutely fantastic company and couldn't be happier with the service provided. Had a front door and side panels fitted and the installation and finishing was superb. Would 100% recommend.

From first making contact, to having our windows installed took less than 4 weeks.
We had a phone call to arrange a sales visit which was booked for the following day. I think the guy was quite new to the job, but he explained things well and clearly. He explained finance options and brought in windows to show us.
The surveyor came a few days later and we had to make some changes, but that was easy he gave us an installation date for 2 weeks time.
The installers arrived and took 2.5 days to install 8 windows and a door. They worked quickly and very cleanly. They enjoyed a laugh but were respectful and helpful all the time. My husband had mobility issues and to be honest we were worried about the upheaval, mess and stour that woulld be created, it it was minimal, thanks to Chris and his dad!
We have a pretty stressful situation going on and I did question our sanity whe. We decided to go ahead with new windows and doors, but we really wanted the. In before the winter. SRN made the whole process from start to finish simple (for us) and stress free. There was no hassle at all and nothing anyone could have done better.
10 outta 10 and a great big thank you! 🙏

Completed quickly and efficiently. The original saleman who came to our door was new and lacking on quite a few details but once we spoke with the man who came to do the measurements all of our questions and concerns were cleared up. Otherwise a very good company.

The whole process was pain free. Very professional but also very amiable. Everything was explained in great detail so we knew what to expect and it was all completed in under a month. We are delighted with the look and finish of the widows and door and would highly reccomend the company to anyone wishing to change their windows.

I should have known better, but the cold-caller who told me they are in the area because of a government grant to get 30% buy-back discount for new windows and doors caught my attention. I've been meaning to look into new windows. The cold-caller said that his company would make an appointment to see me and my wife later in the week, it will only be one hour. He made a point of the fact that by law they cannot spend more than one hour in our house for this kind of sale. He promised no obligation and 12 months to decide.
It turned out completely different. A phonecall during the week confirmed an appointment for later. The sales person arrived on time and was very friendly, talkative and sharp with his information. (Very nice guy).
He spent two hours in our home asking to look at each window, trying to involve me in an assessment of each window on a scale of 1-10 (looking at beading and possible gas escape, build-up of moisture, heat loss, rusted screws, bent hinges etc). The he asked how many people we knew in the area and if there were any footfall around because we could get a discount if we put a sign up on our lawn or if we promised to tell our friends about their service, and if if agreed to leave a trust-pilot review if we feel they earned it. (This is why I am leaving the review! I promised!).
He then called his manager and repeated all the details. And then the manager told him on the phone that we qualify for a 15% discount. By this time we have not yet had a price. And he immediately produced a form, ticked the 15% box, and there was a line for me to sign that I accept the discount, but that I am fully aware of the fact that this is not a government scheme.
I confronted the salesperson that the reason why he was in my house was that I was told there was a government scheme with a 30% discount. Now he was offering 15% and I had to sign that it is not a government scheme.
Fair enough, he apologised and said that this is a private scheme, and he offered to leave but said we would miss out on seeing what the window looks like.
I decided to humour him. He then went through each window in the house and asked us what kind of window we would like, and how we would like it set-up. And then he brought the window out of his car (he had to go fetch it in the car) and showed all the technology of the particular window for security, glazing, UV protection, beading, weight, stainless steel hinges and screws, insulation etc.
Then he asks how would I like to pay for the window and how much would I like to pay for the window. I said It'll be cash, but he tried very hard to sell a loan that could be paid back over 60 or 120 months at an APR of 14% per year or 1.2% per month (he refused to say it was 14% until much later. Instead he wanted to show me how I could pay £100 deposit and pay a certain amount of money that I can afford every month. He was trying really hard to get me to pay the loan, even if I had the cash to pay for the windows because it would make my life easier.
I told him that I am not ready to commit, I want to know the price. I want to think about it. I want to get other quotes.
He then proceeded to calculate how much it would cost, and then asked me how much I think it would be. My wife said £14 000. I said £8000. I can't remember exactly how much he said, but he said it is about £8500 but that there is a 15% discount - so it was very close to £7000.
He again tried to get me to do the loan, and showed me more concrete figures. He suggested to take out the 10 year loan so that it takes pressure of our finances and we can then choose to overpay whenever we wanted. He pushed hard to see how much we thought we could repay, but I insisted cash was the way to go if we decided to go with cash.
I asked him if he could e-mail the quote to me.
He said he would need some information from us so that he can get it processed. E-mail address, name of person paying, phone number, he asked again if we would consider a loan, but I told him that if I wanted a loan my bank could give it to me at half the price. He agreed that it would be cash.
And then he said it would be a 10% deposit with the rest being payable after installation. (He had already said this very early in the sales process that this is how they work)
And at this point he said, "will we pay the deposit by card or bank transfer?" It became clear he wanted the deposit straight away.
I told him,we need time to think and I can tell him in a few weeks.
He phoned his boss again, and the boss said he can offer a bigger discount. He asked me, how much discount do I think the boss will offer.
I was going to guess how much, but my wife was tired of it at and told me that I must just leave it. We are not going to continue negotiating.
That was it. He said if we don't take discount we lose it. He said this is probably not the company for us, and left without leaving a quote (2 hours wasted, promise of 12 month no-obligation quote not kept). Very hard sell.
From start to finish SRN went above and beyond fitting our windows. From the first visit to completion of job only took 3 weeks and everyone involved was very professional. Would highly recommend this company

From initial contact it only took about 3/4 weeks to installation. Everyone involved were professional and made the process easy. I am delighted with the new windows and very happy with the quality of work. Thank you.

The whole process was very smooth and fast. Great telephone and email communication throughout. We have 4 windows replaced in just 2 weeks after the sales representative visited us. Maciek was very friendly and helpful, patiently answering all our questions. The installation process with Tammy, as a group leader, went quickly and tidy. They replaced 4 large windows in less than 5hours. We will use their service again to replace two other windows.

SRN home improvements replaced 10 windows of varying sizes and 1 door for me. My property is very old and all of them where of non standard sizes.
The company measured everything precisely, replaced them in timely manner, fit and finish were great and all communication with the company was smooth.
One of the windows takes most of the wall, and there was minor impurity in the glass, I've found after it was fitted. SRN has replaced it without any extra cost after just one email.
All of the guys working both on the initial order, and the replacement were professional, friendly, and left everything clean and tidy after they were done. Ozzy, Fuzz and Smudge, the guys working on the main order deserve special recognition as they have done an amazing job.
Overall if you are looking to replace windows and want everything to go smoothly go with SRN home improvements.
