The SSCL vetting application site is horrendously slow!!
The SSCL vetting application site is absolutely horrendous! From logging in to moving onto the next section, it takes far too long for the page to load, despite me having very good broadband and connection speed. Others that have tried filling this application out will definitely agree and especially the employment/occupation history page which takes for too long to load and even move onto the next section when you click next, and sometimes the page does not load at all, and you have to fill that all of that page in again! Too many technical issues with the application site and needs to be fixed asap!!

I made a vetting application through…
I made a vetting application through SSCL and despite numerous phone calls and emails, they did not follow through with what they said they would do to rectify the problem which was their end and subsequently I withdrew. Told different things every time I called up. Employment section of vetting form not working properly - numerous staff confirmed this. Poor organisation and systems. SSCL want everything automated but when something is not right, seem unable and unwilling to take responsibility. When a worker told me ‘hopefully someone will call you back’ says it all’ and of course they did not. Perhaps my expectations are too high, ie take responsibility when the problem is your end, do what you say you will do, apologise when you have wasted a lot if someone’s time and driven them to distraction with a system ‘not fit fit purpose’.

THERE IS NO SERVICE.
Absolutely useless. In fact far beyond that. I have been waiting for over 3 months for these people to sort out a simple pension enquiry. After some initial response they no longer reply to reminders (I am now up to about 10 reminders). And trying to call them... well I'm not prepared to waste 2 hours of my life in a queue. Disgraceful.

SSCL Slow or unresponsive
SSCL is associated with a number of organisations including HMPPS. Ive tried to contact them via their official email eg contact-us@govDOTssclDOTcom / MoJ-hr-enquiries@govDOTssclDOTcom regarding an important query. How ever after 5 weeks ive received no response!
FYI while working for HMPPS SSCL was useless - even when i applied to work with HMPPS they were always slow or unresponsive regarding queries - lucky if you got your queries answered appropriately.
