STA School of Traditional Astrology Reviews

I was looking for horary courses for a few years before I embarked with STA. I could have not made a better choice! Sessions are full of wisdom and absolutely perfectly concentrated to get the most out of each topic! Tutors are knowledgeable, relatable, and encouraging. Time flew by and I feel a little sad it's over. I see myself staying with STA for much longer! Thank you to all at STA for such a wonderful experience.

The Horary course is pure gold. First, it's the team at STA. Wow... just wow.
Not only do they have first-rate educators who know how to present complex material in a clear manner that is well-paced, but they are super kind human beings! I felt so supported.

The course is rigorous and the materials are detailed, thorough, and on-point. It’s clear that years of refinement have occurred. I am quite discerning when it comes to my education, and I was highly impressed with every aspect of this course. The materials, the delivery, the opportunities to engage and learn, and the all-important feedback. Absolutely outstanding!

They deliver a course that breaks down the content into bite-size pieces that build to the next level. Thank you to everyone at STA for your commitment to excellence!

I thought I knew Horary until I met the team of STA. Then my perspective, knowledge, culture and approach to astrology changed. Tutors are amazing, they answered every single question, every day for 6 months with perfection. The whole course was set up extremely professional. Hand outs, assignments, sample charts were very efficient and satisfying. And I know if one day I need support or a question they will always be there for me. Thank you

Wow! For those who want a course that is thorough, detailed, intelligent, thoughtfully-organized, exceptionally delivered, and one that has the capacity to get you interpreting horary charts responsibly in 20 weeks... This Is IT!

William Lilly, Guido Bonatti, and many others' work was presented in modern-day English, which for me is essential! The material was delivered in manageable chunks and reinforced repeatedly. It required commitment and diligence, and simultaneously felt honoring of our growth capacity--sometimes expanding it! Good thing Jupiter was in Aries for most of it :-).

Deb Houlding has gathered a team of tutors who bring years of practice experience to the classroom. Their multiple perspectives kept the course feeling fresh and relevant across continents and time. While they had their own ways of teaching, all of them carried a sense of reverence for the craft of astrology, and reminded us throughout about what is and is not possible through horary. Horary can be used to answer questions laden with staggering, far-reaching consequences--the STA offers not just the technique of practicing horary, but also how to manage expectations of clients, and hold astrology's power with humility, integrity and responsibility.

Today, I can interpret horary charts fairly accurately. I do need to continue to practice, but I have everything I need to do it well. I am so grateful to have been guided to the STA, and I recommend this course whole-heartedly, without reservation.

Fabulous instructors, exemplary organization and so detailed! I took this class on a whim because of Wade Caves presentation at ISAR. I don't even know if I want to focus on Horary. But it doesn't matter. I learned so much and all that I learned will make me a more skilful Astrologer all round.

All aspects of the course are so harmoniously done that I would compare the course to an estonishing piece of Art. The learning material reveals the beauty of old astrological texts that similar to true masterpieces become more valuable over the time. The teachers are inspired by the Art of Astrology, eager to share their knowledge and skills with the students. In addition, the design of the printed material absolutely stands out for the amount of work, the quality of each picture and uniqueness . The best course by far from my experience ! I had 20 weeks of the best traditional Astrology education of harmony, love, wisdom, inspiration and , in addition, excellent teaching methodology which was able to bring an extensive knowledge of the subject.

There is a lot of beauty and wisdom in traditional astrology. I found this out during the horary course here at the STA under the guidance of many wonderful teachers! I really appreciated Deborah’s authenticity, speaking from her heart, inspiring students with her enthusiasm for horary astrology and her personal sharing’s from a life time experience of practicing astrology.

I just finished the Horary practitioners course and it made me very very happy...
I am very grateful for all the effort, knowledge and heart that has been given to us during this 20 week course.
I had no idea what i was getting into..., this course is very well design, to my expectations all the teachers and tutors are to the highest standard, the line of communication, the sequence of the lessons are structured in such a way that will build up a strong base of understanding, even though there is a lot of information that cannot be memorize in a week or even twenty weeks, the material becomes a great tool for consultation in every case during your practice.
I thought of horary astrology as one of the most detail focused and complex forms of astrology, but also very rewarded in terms of astrological skills and growth as an astrology practitioner and i was right, after more than ten years of study and practice of astrology, this course gave me the tools, knowledge and inspiration to open the astrological perspectives of my work and practice.
It is a great experience to learn from the experienced astrologers from the STA, their appreciation for the tradition, the respect for the art and also preserving the light of William Lily's legacy in a very professional way.
I have to say, this course is the one! If you can pay for it and you can make a 20 week commitment to astrology then don't hesitate, you will receive way more than what you expected!

One of the best experiences since I am studying Astrology is the STA Horary Course. They teach so well and it is so exciting that you just want to continue learning!
If you are thinking on Horary don't hesitate to enrol this course. You will be amazed.

I recently took the Astronomy for Astrologer class with Wade. it is a very inspirational course as I learned so much about the science behind Astrology. The biggest reward is that now I know how to calculate a chart from scratch given the basic birth information. Strongly recommend the course to anyone who is seriously about Astrology and want to learn beyond.

Brilliant and supportive learning experience. Great tutors with a wealth of knowledge.

I was on the fence about enrolling in this course as I had studied Horary independently for years. It exceeded my expectations! The STA team are presenting a course that sets the benchmark for quality astrological education. The wealth of knowledge you receive and the guided support from the lecturers will far outweigh your financial investment. It is the best, bar none. Stop thinking about it and enrol now!

I enjoyed the STA Horary course immensely. It was thorough and comprehensive. I am coming away from the course a much better practitioner. I appreciate all the instructors and the expertise they offered.

Best Horary course ever. Everything is explained in a simple and effective manner. All of the 3 teachers were very helpful and accommodating to the students' needs . Highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn Horary Astrology.

I loved this course, looking forward to every one of the twenty weekly lessons. It's smooth level of organisation and delivery shows a long-term commitment to refining an elegant, accessible, and highly professional learning environment. The notes were incredibly thorough without being pedantic or formulaic. I was impressed by how the STA supported their very strong craft-based, empathic and human-centred astrology with an awe and reverence for the spirit behind it. The pace for me was great, but I think it would have been a steep learning gradient for those without a solid sense of the basics. I am not normally a fan for on-line learning environments but found this course really worked for me, and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting a deep, sensitive and practical understanding and experience of horary.

Amazing course. I was expecting a lot, and the material delivered. The tutors were skilled and capable communicators, leading me to feel supported while learning the fundamentals through to complicated, real-life chart examples. The step-by-step approach and way the materials builds creates confidence and faith in the techniques presented. My only regret is that I did not have more time in my schedule to engage with all the facets of the course - there was so much to learn and I had less time to commit than I had hoped.

It was an amazing experience! The course is well structured in the theoretical and practical level. I would like to thank the STA team for their wisdom. I feel honored to have learned from STA. I highly recommend this wonderful course! Thanks!

The material was excellent and detailed. All tutors provided timely feedback. I’m glad I invested my time and money in this course!

I took the Horary Practitioners Level course and loved every minute of it. The material is top-notch, the tutors are kind, intelligent, and patient, and never fail to motivate their students. The tutors' knowledge of astrology is second to none. If you are looking for astrology courses that challenge you, even if you are already knowledgeable, I recommend studying with STA. I am glad I took this course and will definitely be back for other STA courses in the near future.
To Deb, Wade, and Lee: Thank you for this fantastic experience.

I joined the horary practitioners course. Great course material of traditional astrology, thoroughly researched and presented in a high quality. I loved the likeable tutors/presenters and live sessions which had been a lot of fun and a great learning experience.
