STA School of Traditional Astrology Reviews

This is an outstanding, rigorous, and indeed the best astrological course I have ever taken. I am so proud to be a part of such esteemed astrologers. I have fallen in love with astrology all over again. The course, the website, the instructors are beyond measure. I am forever grateful to Deborah, Lee, and Wade, for their knowledge, most notably making the classes fun!
Take this course if you want the best education with incredible teachers.

This Traditional Astrology/Horary Course is really beyond expectation in quality and care for everything offered. It is but seldom I extend my highest appreciation but in this case I do wholeheartedly: Perfect! As well in quality as in quantity and that goes for personal attention as well.
I am very grateful for tutors Deb Houlding, Lee J. Lehman, Eve Dembowski and Wade Caves for realizing such!
Thank you very much!

This course taught me an infallible system that replicates results every time. I always knew this was possible with astrology, an innate sense told me that it was a valid system, that there must be a way to successfully “repeat the experiment”. Yet, never being able to replicate results, I was about to give up. And then I found the STA and am astounded at the knowledge and skill I have gained. My utmost thanks and gratitude to Deb Houlding and the STA for creating such a thorough and far-reaching course.

If you are looking for a method that will raise your confidence and skill level exponentially, then this is the course for you.

I feel like words cannot do my experience justice! The STA Practitioners Level Course was better (and more) than I could have dreamed possible.
Everything everyone has said below is exactly correct. From the written course material to the in-person Zoom lectures, to the Q&A discussion forums, to the guest teacher Horary presentations, you are given everything needed to learn Horary. The material is concise and laid out extremely well. Our teachers were knowledgeable, attentive, encouraging, and inspiring!! Their passion and enthusiasm for Horary is infectious! I am so honored to have been a student of Debra Houlding, Lee Lehman, and Wade Caves. These must be the best and most prolific Horary astrologers of our time and it showed in their knowledge and expertise. I feel like I've been given such a gift, a wonderful magical gift.

I thoroughly enjoyed the STA Horary Course and can't think of any criticisms or suggestions as to how to do it any better. Everything about the course, from the excellent level of teaching to the website design and function was superb. We had constant access to several expert astrologers who were at the ready with answers to questions and clear explanations of the topic on the community forum. The layout of the online course was so easy to navigate and very well organized. The weekly (plus) life zoom meetings gave it a personal touch which created a real sense of community with the tutors and all the other students. In addition to all that it was so fun to learn horary and I can't wait to get started practising it!

A very well structured course which comprehensively presents both basic and more complex astrological information. The student will emerge from this course knowing more about astrology as a whole, as well as being given a sound grounding in Horary. Good supportive feedback from the lecturers. Enjoyed it greatly and learned so much. Thank you! Can't wait to do next course!

A well structured, superbly taught, in-depth course on horary, developed and presented by very learned, experienced and well respected practitioners. The personal support & feedback was invaluable. I would highly recommend this course for a solid grounding or refresher in horary astrology

Anyone interested in learning astrology needs this course even if they do not intend to practice horary astrology. The material is presented clearly and in a systematic way that builds with layers so it is approachable and not overwhelming. The instructors are knowledgeable and engaging. This class exceeded all my expectations and increased my confidence as an astrologer.

This course is exceptional and exceeded all my expectations!

I'm amazed at the level of dedication from all the tutors (Deb, Lee, Wade) in ensuring that the students understand the materials and that they become horary practitioners after graduating from this course.

My only regret - not finding a course like this 20 years ago. I cannot recommend this course high enough!

If you are looking to learn Astrology, do not look anywhere else. You have found the ancient tradition as it was performed by the greatest thinkers, the wisest sages, and the holiest prophets.

Words are not enough to praise the STA team for what they have done here. Don't let this opportunity pass you by.

The experience of taking this course is so fulfilling because the teaching team combine high-level expertise with high-level care of the material and the students. It is a joy to learn from people who respect their subject so much and take the time to teach astrology in a way that honors their knowledge and passion for the subject. If you're interested in diving deeper into your practice of astrology, you will not regret taking this course.

When I woke up this morning thinking about this course, the word 'impeccable' popped into my mind. The way the course is delivered by the instructors, Deb, Lee and Wade, the progression of the material, and the material itself is not only priceless, as Emma has stated, but virtually flawless. Every detail has been addressed. It's a demanding course and I'm already missing it! I feel that I am now a lineage-holder along with our teachers in this honourable and ethical wisdom tradition. Thank you so much!

Deborah Houlding has created nothing short of a masterpiece of a course. It will make an informed Horary Practitioner out of you! I wholeheartedly recommend it!

From the onset, it is clear that this is no ordinary course, and it just gets better and more exciting as you progress. Students are warmly welcomed, set up and well briefed on the system of the course, and when the teaching begins, it is delivered with true passion as if the expert tutors are discovering it for the first time with the students.

The course is thoughtfully structured to provide the material in the perfect order. In the first session, a seed of inspiration is planted inside of you, and by the end of the 20 weeks, it is in full bloom. Each session flows from one to the next, combining and building on principles as they are introduced. The material is incredibly comprehensive and rich in astonishing chart judgements that convey the value and beauty of the Art. The long lineage of horary wisdom has been condensed and filtered to create a well rounded curriculum that illuminates appreciation, deepens understanding, and contextualises astrological practice as a whole.

The accompanying course text is also stunningly presented. In fact, every element of this course has been so well considered and professionally organised.

The tutors are friendly, supportive and dedicated to the students. You are encouraged to ask questions which are always responded to in depth, and constructive personal feedback is given throughout.

What I have learned is priceless, it has opened my heart and mind. I will forever cherish the experience!

I was seduced and amazed by this technique from my first introduction to horary. STA’s course is phenomenal and far surpassed my expectations. I am in awe of the expertise of the instructors and impressed with the comprehensive written materials. Classes are interactive and the limited size promotes intimacy. Student questions are addressed promptly in the forum with detailed responses from the instructors.
In addition to providing a solid foundation, this course deepened my understanding of astrology in general. An unexpected benefit is improved natal and event chart delineation skills. I now have a solid foundation in horary technique and the confidence to add it to my list of services.

Everything was amazing about this course: the tutors, the course material and the chart discussions. I'm so glad I took this course!

Even for an astrological neanderthal the course was not only accessible but enjoyable. Strongly recommended!

Go for it. It's definitely worth it. But remember: you'll work, you'll be in good company, you'll stretch yourself and at the end you'll be surprised how much you've learned.

The content of the course is based on enduring principles rooted in centuries of astrological tradition. I especially appreciated that the material, while made totally accessible, was not reduced to a how-to-do-it formula. I felt encouraged to master the material and then supported in finding my own voice. The workbook and tests were challenging and expertly designed to push understanding of the material to a higher level which was a great confidence builder. The tutors, all amazing astrologers, were totally responsive to students questions and concerns. I highly recommend this as a foundational course for any serious astrology student. The spirit of collegiality among the group and the tutors also made the sessions fun and I looked forward to every class!

The STA course delivered far beyond my expectations; complex concepts are broken down with examples that apply the techniques to actual charts. Deb’s material covered all types of questions and gave me the confidence to succeed in Horary practice. This Horary material is by far the best Astrology course I have taken. Thanks, Deb, Wade, and Lee, for sharing your knowledge!
