Very Slow Confirmation!!!
I ordered musical tickets from this company for a show that was on the next day. Didn't receive any kind of confirmation email so tried to create an account to see if I could see my order: Impossible, said that my email was already in use (as I used the same one as my order).. Tried to reset the password, but then received a message that I had not confirmed the account yet (because I had not received a mail requesting confirmation). Tried to sleep, despite the overwhelming feeling that I had been the victim of a scam. Next morning still no news. Cancelled my credit card. Decided to check with the theatre company: Stagedoor was not listed as a STAR approved authorised reseller.. Of course no phone number to call Stagedoor, only an email – I sent a mail on the evening before, soon after I realised that no tickets had arrived, and another in the morning as I became more nervous.
I decided to go to the box office to see if I could get in touch with Stagedoor through them. To my enormous surprise the box office (Savoy Theatre) confirmed that I did in fact have a reservation and printed my tickets for me on the spot!!! Amazing!
An email finally arrived at 12.45 on the day of the show (7.30pm). Stagedoor did apologise, but it was a bit late!
@Stagedoor Is there any explanation for this unnecessary suffering? If you can’t send tickets for a technical reason, at least you should send an acknowledgment that you have received my order and that tickets will be sent in due course.. In my case the value of tickets was nearly £500 so I think this warrants a minimum amount of information and customer service.
