I didn't like not knowing upfront that there would be an additional charge using your debit card. I also didn't like that you couldn't buy a mixed box of meat. No variety in the choices of food.

Stay away. The meat is from a dairy cow, filled with additives, coloring, and blade tenderized. The company has shady business practices. Read about it on Reddit before you make a purchase
I just bought these and got two boxes of beef. In one box the color of the frozen meat looked great but the other box the color was very off. Like it had been unfrozen and frozen a few times. It is an ugly beige looking color on almost the entire box of meats. Scared to eat them. Maybe after I receive a fresh box for replacement I will change my review.
Seafood box is a scam we got a disgusting super old incomplete lobster, they just packed everything super nice but the contents are very poor quality so don't fall for it, is really not worth your hard earned money, to bad we can't upload pictures of it here
I made the mistake of buying the Premium Reserve Package from Stampede Ranch & Farms after being pressured in a parking lot. They started at $500 and haggled all the way down to $120, but insisted on cash only red flag number one.
Once I got the meat home and thawed it, I realized why the deal seemed “too good to be true.” The meat’s color was off, there was a strange brown liquid when thawed, and the cuts were fatty, gristly, and tough. Even the filet supposedly the best cut was inedible. They also advertise “40 ribeyes for $40,” but what you actually get are paper-thin slices closer to lunch meat than steak.
After looking up the company’s official return policy online, it’s clear that whoever is selling in these parking lots is likely bypassing the real process maybe even stealing product or selling rejects. No receipts, no traceability, and absolutely no accountability.
This is nothing but a scam dressed up as a bargain. Don’t fall for it. We’ll be sticking with our trusted local butcher, where the quality and integrity are guaranteed.
I met with Kyle this morning. He did not deny not giving Mary the $50 off coupon. But he claimed to have marked the chicken down from a $249 retail to $140. In his mind he said that he more than doubled the $50 off coupon. In my mind the chicken should have been $90 with the $50 coupon. What has riled my feathers is that he verbally told Mary that the coupon was only good for the first 50 customers. Nowhere on their website or on the coupon does it state that! Very deceptive sales!

I bought a $150 box that I was supposedly getting a "GREAT DEAL" on. The "filets" are NOT filets. They are gristled and stringy and absolutely NOT filet. The ribeyes are paper thin have barely any marbling. The burger patties are already slightly browned before freezing. The meat is all loaded with flavorings and "mechanically tenderized". This company came a few days after Backyard Butcher was in the same location offering the same deal capitalizing on people not realizing it was a different company that doesn't even get their meat from Texas. This is a complete grifting.
I'd also like to point out the package is labeled as "choice" and there is no CHANCE this is choice graded meat. This is closer to horse meat than choice beef. I will be contacting the USDA regarding this fake labeling.
We waited in line for 3 hours to get their 20 ribeyes for $40 promotional deal. Of course they accept my tax dollars = EBT. And of course they are 2oz of cartlidge filled meat!
They are not honest with the sale, I can do better at Costco, Vons or even Walmart! The meat is like beef jerky and there really was no deal at all except false advertisement for profit of their own. I hope they actually donate to places like the fire down south because this was a waste of my time! A hoax that made sense once I got to front of line and upsold. My son didn't want to leave empty handed so I paid cash for a box and DO NOT RECCOMEND this to anyone. Even those that get our hard earned tax dollars in form of ebt! Of course they have no place to contact the company direct either.
I can't actually believe some of these people think this is a good deal. I spent over $500 buying an assortment and had no idea most of their steaks were under a half inch thick. The 20 Ribeyes for $40 was the biggest joke of all. I just listened to the guy pictures pitch and thought what the heck let me try this. Never ever again in my life would I buy from this company. Everything is filled with the saline solution most everything in the meat department is junk I threw it all away I wouldn't feed this to my dogs. Ronald M. Rose USMC retired
What a terrible experience. The beef and the chicken were awful. I reached out to customer service several times with NO reply. Their refund policy says that as long as 80% of the meat is there they will refund and I had more than 80% left. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. It's better to find good quality and local beef than wasting your money on this. Our beef was gray and discolored and smelled awful. Would never recommend this company.
This was the first time we heard of this vendor but we’ve had good experiences with pop-up/home solicitation protein vendors in the past. We heard of this particular opportunity on the radio and were close by so gave it a shot. The 20 ribeye promo thing is disappointing. They’re so thin I don’t think they would qualify as a ribeye in most AZ households. Although that promo got us there, we didn’t even want them… We did however spend over $400 on steak, pork and chicken. Hook, line and sinker we were trustingly wheeled in, but live and learn… We’re most disappointed with the chicken.. the pork tips are ok with some marinade and the two steak cuts we tried so far are ok, but nothing to brag about. I love to cook and the quality of these meats aren’t good in my opinion. The chicken especially, in our experience has an off putting texture. My intention is not to deter anyone else from trying this ranch/farm product(s), and I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but I felt strongly to share here mainly because as a consumer giving the benefit of the doubt, and spending a a few hundred dollars, it wasn’t worth it and other consumers should have feedback and opinions to consider and do what they want with. Thanks all.
Come & get your fake meat ! Nobody buy this junk . They lie & charge u extra & do not tell you . The meat is junk . Your company does not deserve 1 star .
I spent 444. & they charged me 457. Processing fee which they did not tell me . It is still in all the boxes come & get it ! we will not eat this junk . No way 72 % of your customer are saying this is good meat . Do not believe these reviews . I wish I could put pictures up here. You would be a believer & never buy meat from a truck under a tent. I am out $ 457 because I will not eat this fake meat .
Not real meat , Complete rip off , 40 dollars for 20 tiny Mechanical made Ribeyes that smell horrible , Gritty, They are a fly by night truck that sits in parking lots for one day then moves to the next town to rip someone else Off
Super good customer service and very short wait time in line.

Be Careful with this company. I purchased the family package. Everything looked fine when I made the purchase. Once I got home and started cooking the items I notice the number of filets in the box did not match was was listed on the box. This happened with 4 boxes of meat. BE CAREFUL.
07/16/2024 Update. Thank you for your reply. I was shown the meats but did not count them. I was told the family pack was good for a family of 4. It was only after I started using and preparing meals that I noticed I did not have the count label on the boxes. I bought the items off of a truck at my local town center. I called several friends. So far, only one other person noticed a similar problem.
