This place is bait and switch.They offer "same day" glasses, but neither myself nor anyone else who was there were getting their glasses same day. Also, they have these "two for one sales." The total cost was initially almost $800 with insurance. I asked for my prescription and then I wanted to just order glasses from Zenni. They went round and round eventually I got one pair of glasses for about $150. Meanwhile, I went home with my prescription and ordered a pair of glasses from Zenni. They were about $125. They came in about 5 days. It took almost 10 days to get my glasses from these people. What a mess. Next time, I will try to get a prescription from an independent optometrist and then just go the Zenni route. I'm giving this place oltwo stars instead of one because the ladies who helped me really did try to bring down the costs for me, but overall I felt there were bait and switch tactics going on because no one was getting same day glasses as far as I could tell, and I went there because I had lost my only pair and desperately needed a new pair.
First time customer glasses had a crack in the lens corner on the first day; I did not say anything because I thought it was more plastic wrap (or whatever was all around the edges of the lenses) but it was a crack. Brand new cracked glasses. Plus I am not sure the exam was accurate. Its ok, I am getting use to the service in south texas.

My prescription was wrong. The doctor kept telling me to read what I can when I said I couldn't see anything. Luckily the gentleman who was helping me was very friendly and understanding or the review would've been worse. If my prescription isn't right the second time then I'm going to be extremely upset.

I ordered two glasses 5/23, and just got only one pair 6/11 after they told me they would be ready in a week because they gave them to someone else ! Still waiting on my second pair

I recently had a fantastic experience here, largely thanks to the incredible customer service by Alexzandra and Alexas. Initially, I was taken aback because the prices are ridiculously high compared to competitors in the area. However, the manager, Alexzandra was absolutely wonderful to work with as well. She was friendly, understanding, and went out of her way to help get the price down to a comfortable level for my budget. Because of her willingness to work with me, I left a very satisfied customer.
I do feel bad for the employees because it is quite busy for there only to be 4 people on a busy Friday and on top of that when picking up my glasses there was only 3 people working and all of them were extremely busy, not all people are as patient as me and are willing to wait, I genuinely feel bad for them because the others who were waiting for glasses were down right rude and were talking to much smack to the employees, I do give the employees a huge high 5 for handling everything so gracefully.
Now would I ever return? Probably not due to the fact you can get designer frames for the exact same cost at the competitors.
As a business owner I do feel like having 3-4 employees in a busy environment with prices being the way they are is such a slap on the face for employees and shows this company is VERY much so for the money not the employees.
I would take Alexzandra in a heartbeat if she ever wanted to work for me, the multitasking was unmatched and the sense of urgency to help everyone, each employee and each patient is hard to find.

Staff must be on commission because I said no multiple times, more than I’ve ever had in any store or even with a stranger encroaching. Then when I was finally talked into a sale I got sub par options and the price was wrong. The lease agreement I signed up for wasn’t adequately explained either. The price is ridiculous! I’m paying over 400 dollars for one pair of plastic frames with plastic lenses!! Overall the worst customer service I’ve ever had trying to just be able to see property. Will never return and I take every opportunity to share my experience with those I pass in my day to day in hopes that they dont get put through a similar experience.

I had a bad experience with Stanton. First the ads lie. They just want to get you there then use sales tactics to upsell the glasses. They use machines instead of real doctors to test your vision. The prescription is bad and the glasses are cheap. Never going back there again.

I would give them a -10 if I could obviously I can’t a few years ago I went there and I couldn’t come get my eye contact that I had ordered from there because I was working out of state and no one else could go pick them up for me them up just over two months I put them on wore them and guess what not my prescription did not work for me. I called and of course they couldn’t do anything why because 90 days had passed already wow OK they knew my dilemma and where I was at, but OK that’s fine so I’ve gone two years after that to get my prescriptions and only prescription. It was good. Nothing bad to say this year in 2026 in January. I did go and get a new prescription. There was a little kid there telling me I can’t just go get prescription. I have to get glasses there. I like didn’t even say move Over. I know what I do. I don’t have to do that so then I get my eye exam go get my my prescription order glasses online. They seem a little odd, but I really didn’t notice it is May now I’m just ordering my contacts because I wanted to get my eyes arrest so my contacts come in. I can’t see I can see far but I can’t see they took my. I guess it’s called bifocal off my prescription I don’t know why and I was definitely was not told I called today and so answered and they said that there’s nothing to do because 90 days are OK. I’m not wanting them to do anything to give me a new prescription. I’ll go pay for another prescription. Tell me why they changed my prescription well he couldn’t tell me that this is the worst experiences I’ve had with my eyes never again. This was the last year with them good luck guys.

Although the staff was friendly and helpful, it would have been extremely helpful to have prices for services other than frames. I wound up spending way too much for services than I wanted to.

The 1st time I went to pick up my glasses, they couldn't find one pair. Even though I received an email saying all my glasses were there. This was Friday, 4-24. I appreciate the effort to find my glasses. He told me if I can go back. I went back Saturday morning, 4-25, and Tyree was able to find them. They were in a different box than what was inputted into the system.
$2000+ for 2 pairs of glasses. I could buy 20 pairs of glasses online$97 for each pair..
