My son lost his glasses while on…

My son lost his glasses while on vacation to the National Parks. The associates were so kind, patient, and understand. I was able to get my son seen and have glasses made the same day. One of the best customer services that I have ever received. I highly recommend.

When you enter there seems to be a…

When you enter there seems to be a disconnect with the customer. I have been going to this branch for about 4 years, and felt the service was above the board. But this last experience from (2) examinations and the inability to get me the correct prescription, due to not having a on-site optomologist, then I had prepaid for my glasses and contacts, had to go off-site for my exam and then comeback and reorder the correct prescription was a disaster. I am extremely busy and my time was not taken into consideration.

I just wanted to be able to see good.

There were 4 employees and 2 patients (i was one of them) and i still had to wait OVER AN HOUR passed my scheduled time just to get my exam. THEN i still had to wait more than another hour for the doctor to “read the exam”. I was then told that my insurance DOES NOT cover an eye exam or any frames. This is after my wife and i explicitly asked what my insurance covers as we checked in. They wanted to charge me over $400 for a simple frame and lense. When i asked to just take my prescription with me, the lady in the lab coat got defensive and didn’t want to give it to me. I felt like she was trying to force me to pay for a frame. I will absolutely not be going back to any Stanton optical and i WILL be deterring anyone i can from using the company.

They asked me to consent to texts and…

They asked me to consent to texts and emails yet I had to call in to learn that my glasses were ready two days earlier an hour after I picked them up I got my first email stating they are waiting to be picked up.

I paid for name brand frames yet got the same cheesy case everyone gets worst money I ever spent. Dealing with staff felt like I was in the finance dept of a car dealership getting hustled and squeezed. They then advised they would hold back the final measurement preventing me from getting my prescription filled online. Over priced and very dissatisfying experience, which I have shared with several people already.

Never received notification of my glasses having been received & ready for pickup

I received a text for pickup of my contacts. But never was notified my pair of glasses had come in. After 2 weeks I stopped in to find the glasses had been in for pickup.

I liked the lady that helped me lily she picked out the best deal for me it was 450 but that pair wasn’t right then she got me the new pair and there still off so I gusse I’m just A** out my money 💰

The prescription was not place right on…

The prescription was not place right on the lens. I couldn’t read up close with them. When this was brought to the attention of Staton supervisory staff, she was being dismissive. Had to argue in order to get a replacement.

"FREE" EYE EXAM...

Marketing says FREE EYE EXAM, with no mention of it being $60+ if I don't make a purchase. Never told me about it either, just walk you straight to the back to quickly do it. False advertising. Then... After the saleswoman realized I wouldn't be spending the $300+ she was pushing me to, she basically ignored me until I picked out frames on my own and was very short compared to when I first walked in. Definitely not coming back because of all that, plus it's all the same frames in different colors from different brands. No variety in frame sizes, just regular small rectangular typical frames, unless you're ready to shell out some big shekels.
