This place is a complete SCAM!!!!

This place is a complete SCAM!!!!! I live in Alaska and Travel to Homer, Alaska frequently. I spent one afternoon trying to track this business down and even talked to local businesses asking about their existence. Starlight Seafood Store does not exist in the state of Alaska. Do not fall for their fraudulent website.

I can't prove they are or are not a…

I can't prove they are or are not a scam. But I did notice they have two addresses listed in Homer AK on their website. So I google-mapped both addresses and contacted every business that was adjacent to either one.

All but one of those businesses got back to me the same day. And not a single one of them had ever heard of Starlight Seafood and they all confirmed there was no such business at either of the two addresses listed.

Like I said, this doesn't prove they are a scam, but buyer beware!

Complete Scam

Building off AL's review earlier, these guys are a bunch of scammers. Their website claimed they ship all their orders via UPS but once we got a "tracking number" from them, it was from "Moreno Bus Company". Shipment got "stuck" in Seattle and they required us to purchase $1000 insurance before the package could continue to be shipped. First off, insurance purchases should only be decided by the buyer, it is never mandatory. Calling both Starlight and Moreno leads to Google Voices as well.

Stay far away, these guys are terrible.

They are a scam site run by scammers

They are a scam site run by scammers. They take your money and then claim your food was shipped. No tracking number and you never receive your product.

Their number is Google voice, they are not listed in the Alaskan state business directory, and street view shows their address to be a empty lot.
